Pet care experience
My household currently has three cats, I previously owned four, and have helped to care for neighbor's and friend's pets since I was a teenager! I am also the only person I know who can get a cat to take a bath haha!
Reviews
Shalaja was communicative, and sent lots of videos and photos during our 10 day vacation. We don’t usually take this long of a trip, so I was a bit anxious but seeing how happy my pups were in the videos was reassuring. My senior pup even started running with her (he’s 90% of the time super chill and only runs if he’s STOKED). I came home to a clean place with trash taken out and notes on things she couldn’t find but needed to be replaced (paper towels, trash bags etc), which I was super grateful for! Safe to say, I’ll definitely book with her again.
Shalaja listens intentionally to direction for caring for my pups. She’s dependable, quick to respond to requests, and my pups love her. Hiro is very chill, and Tem is high energy but Shalaja caters to both their needs without being asked to. I’m so grateful to have found her here!
Shalaja was wonderful! She kept me well informed and was very responsible with my dog and my home!
Shalaja took great care of my dog while I was away and sent me daily updates, which was much appreciated! I look forward to booking with her again!

Safety, trust & environment
In my own home, I provide food 3 times a day and fresh water 24 hours. We have scheduled play time (I have a rambunctious kitten), and lots of cuddles of course. In my client’s home, I try to stick to care detailed for me. If the client has no specific care instructions, then I tend to go based off of my own home care, which includes lot of playtime.
Information Shalaja W. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your pets require any special care, ranging anywhere from some extra cuddles and play while you're gone, to medication administration. Please indicate whether your furry friend is high energy or in need of potty training (or training in general). If the client is a dog, I will need to know how they react to people and other dogs on walks. If the client is a cat, please let me know if they like to hangout in any special areas of the house (to include porches, balconies or yards). For all clients, I will need to know if your companion has a history of biting, scratching or any other aggressive behaviors! I am not comfortable administering injectable medicine but can administer oral medication, if needed.
A typical day
For dogs, we can go for walks together! Any cool paths near by that are dog friendly would likely be my go-to, or the beach. I am also willing to bring your dog (or cat! Mine loves the car) on car rides or along on errands, if the establishment rules allow and that is something you are comfortable with. A typical day will usually start with nourishment and some quality time, before moving to walks (or relaxing if the client is a cat home).

Availability
I am a college student, in class 4 days a week from about 11 AM to 2 PM! As long as your pet can go about 4 hours without a potty break, our schedules will align just fine! My weekends are completely open for house sitting stays. Overnight stays can be reviewed on a case by case basis!
