Pet care experience
I am a 25 year old kindergarten teacher that has lived with cats and dogs for all 25 years of my life! I am a care taker at heart. I have 12 years of babysitting and pet-sitting experience and I have been teaching kindergarten for four years. I also have three years of volunteer experience with the SPCA. I have experience with all sizes of dogs, from chihuahuas to Newfoundlands. I currently have two cats of my own, two guinea pigs of my own, and I regularly pet-sit a golden doodle and a very active black lab. I am active and love to go for walks and jogs! I have reliable transportation and I love dogs of all ages and sizes. I am friendly, enthusiastic, professional, and super excited to meet your fur baby (or babies!)

I have a rescue dog who can be very difficult with strangers. She is warm and sweet when she knows someone, but it can take quite a while for her to be comfortable with people. Shae came to the house to meet Bonnie, and to my surprise Bonnie was friendly immediately. When Shae stayed at the house Bonnie slept with her. Shae was gentle but firm, understood Bonnie’s limitations, and was wonderful with her. One of our neighbors has been trying to be Bonnie’s friend for two years without any luck. Shae was able to connect within minutes. She has a gift with animals.
I was worried about taking a trip but I think my dog is actually happier when we go on vacation and leave her with Shae. Thanks.
Shaela is the best. She takes great care of our cats and dog when we are away. They love her. She’s like family! Highly recommend!

I live across from Gosnald Park in Hampton, but I will walk your dog in your neighborhood, Sandy Bottom nature park, or wherever you prefer! I love playing fetch and jogging if your dog is up for it!
