Kind, patient and professional. — As advertised, long weekend dog sitter. I work from home 2 days of the standard work week. The days and times can be flexible. Happy to help as much as I can to sort out a workable sit. I prefer if you can drop off and pick up your dog.. Otherwise, I’m happy to pick up your dog within a reasonable distance or my apartment with an IKEA bag’s worth of stuff. I’ll walk your dog regularly and make sure they’re active while staying with me unless you’ve got any specific requirements. I can also take your dog on runs if you’d like. — I’ve had dogs my entire life in a range of sizes and ages. I don’t have any at the moment but that is just a result of circumstance. Thanks!

It's important for me to know if the dog has any special needs, if they require a particular medicine delivery method, and how to interact with people and other animals. It's also helpful to know how long your dog can comfortably be alone.
A typical day
Fortunately for your pet (and me), I live between two (2) great parks: Fort Greene Park and Prospect Park. Additionally there are plenty of little micro-parks in the area for shorter walks that can be just as lush and a bit more exciting than the sidewalk.

Availability
I have my own routines and I try to keep a tight schedule. Animal care falls into my existing schedule nicely since I live alone. Weekends allow for long walks, runs, or trips to a nearby dog park, while weekdays are for introducing your dog to whatever show I'm watching while we eat our dinners.
