I'm a huge dog and animal lover. I grew up with different breed dogs since I was 3yo. For about 10 years, I had 2 beautiful Golden Retrievers who were my everything until the last one passed in Nov'19. Hence, I love dog-sitting and will temporarily love your dog(s) as my own! and spoil, pamper and care for them as much as I did with my 2 fur angels for many years. They will feel like home, trust me. I love all kinds of dogs and spoil them big time. I'll make sure your dog gets all the attention and love needed while you are gone. I love when dogs sleep on my bed with me, so if your dog is used to sleep on the bed I will let him sleep with me too (but please be kind and make sure your dog is clean and bathed. I have a doggy door for convenient access to the backyard where your dog can come and go as needed. I will send you pictures and updates periodically as I used to trvael frequently for work in the past and had an awesome sitter who kept me updated with pics so I know how hard is to be away and miss your pup. You will leave your fur baby in trusting, loving and caring hands while you are away. I have a hybrid work schedule. I work from home on Mondays and Fridays and go to the office Tue, Wed and Thu regular 8am-5pm. I spend the weekdays' afternoons and most of the weekend at home, or coming in and out of the house when I run errands. If your drop off or pick up days/times are during the times I go to the office we will need to coordinate accordingly, so please keep that in mind. If your dates also fall in the days I go to the office I'm ok with that and I have boarded dogs while I go to work those days, once they learn the doggy door and they are ok being alone for a few hours then they are good. Please be honest and let me know if that is the case and they are ok alone at times. I have a big fenced backyard for the dogs to enjoy (remodeled in 2021) with some shaded areas for extra comfort and care against the sun. I also have a doggy door so the pups can come in and out to the patio and play or potty whenever they need. If your dog doesn't know how to use it I will make sure to teach him (they usually learn within the 1st day). All my clients who don't know how to use the doggy door they leave learning about it :) My house AC remains at 74-78F daylong during the hot summer days, so your pup will be very comfortable all day inside. - TIPS / GRATUITIES ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED! Not expected but certainly well appreciated. If you liked the service, pictures and attention to your fur baby during the stay, a tip shows appreciation and respect for the trustworthy and professional efforts provided by your sitter. This is no different than any other service such as hair stylist, barber, groomer, server, bartender, car valet, etc. Remember that pet sitters are taking care of a member or members of your family so spread some love 8)

Sergio is the absolute best dog sitter!! He takes the time to genuinely know your dog to give you peace of mind. He is so responsive and will send you updates throughout the whole stay which is so fun to see. His house is the perfect setup for the dogs to play and hang inside and out. This was my first time leaving my dog with someone else/using Rover and I couldn’t have been happier with my choice. I honestly think Layla had a better time with him that at home with me! If you’re considering Sergio, absolutely do it?
Sergio was so communicative and sent so many photos of Loki during his stay! Loki seemed like he had so much fun, I will be using Sergio again next time I travel.
My dog seemed very happy to have stayed with Sergio and she was even sad to leave. I appreciated Sergio’s communication and flexibility, and that he took great care of my pup.
Sergio was our first Rover experience, and we’re so glad he was. There was constant communication, and pictures throughout the week. It was so nice to see my pet kids thriving in a new and clean environment. The picturesque backyard was perfect for them as the weather is warming up! To top it off- he was super understanding when our flight got delayed to weather changes. We can’t thank you enough Sergio! We’re so glad we found someone we can now trust with our babies.

- ONLY ACCEPTING GOOD BOYS AND GOOD GIRLS! - NO REQUESTS FROM DOGS THAT DONT GET ALONG WITH OTHER DOGS! no dogs that are SKITTISH, NON-SOCIALIZED, TIMID, FOOD AGRESSIVE or LEASH AGRESSIVE/PROTECTIVE when other dogs show up. My main priority is that everybody gets along, has a great time and fun in a friendly environment. Please don't send me a request if your dog doesn't get along with other dogs as I usually board 1+ clients at a time. It is important for everyone that your dog is comfortable and friendly with other dogs. I won't take dogs that are not used to be around other dogs. Also, if your dog is only friendly to certain dogs (small size) but is not with large dogs, I won't consider it as I board dogs of all sizes. I will only consider request of this kind if it is 2 dogs from the same client that get along and IF I don't have other clients booked on the same dates. So this is on a case by case basis but not guaranteed. - DROP OFF AND PICK UP TIMES: Please make sure to be accurate on the times when sending a request. If your pick up time is past 5pm but you put an earlier time to avoid Rover extended care fee, I will ask you to pay for an additional day care fee if your pick up is past 5pm. Drop offs can be as early as 6:00am and pick up the latest will be 10pm, no later than 10pm pick up times please. IF for any reason your return flight is delayed and you won't make it by 10pm, then it will have to be next morning which will incurr an additional day of boarding but you can be worry free about your dog as it will be in great hands and comfy. - MAKE SURE YOUR PET'S PROFILE IS COMPLETE. Include all information and details available as well as a brief description and pictures of your dog. If you just signed up and are rushing to find a sitter but can't complete your pet's profile, I'm sorry but I won't consider your request. Be a good user of the platform. - NO LAST MINUTE REQUESTS PLEASE! I won't consider requests of less than 48hrs as I must have a meet and greet first with me at my house and perhaps another dog because I normally have other dogs. ONLY if I don't have other dogs on the dates you request I will consider a last min request on a case by case basis. I always like to have a meet and greet to make sure everybody gets along, me and the owner meet and have a chat, you and your dog get to know my place, etc. It is crucial that your dogs is fine among other dogs as I mentioned above, otherwise please don't send me a request. - OUT OF TOWN VISITORS REQUESTS. If you can't commit to a meet and greet before your drop off requested date (since you are visiting from out of town obviously) I will still consider your request but on a case by case basis also. This based on your pet's profile, personality and demeanor, background and breed (please be completely honest), or if I don't have other dogs booked for the same days. IF I have other dog(s) booked the same days, then again, your request will be considered on a case by case basis and depending on how a meet and greet on the spot goes when you arrive. If you want to take your chances this way I can still consider it but if any dog does not get along, is skittish, snaps or shows any sign of agression, it will be automatically rejected and not allowed to stay (so consider a back up plan in case of this scenario). - Please be kind and make sure your dog is clean prior to coming or at least is not smelling bad. I like to spoil and pamper my clients. I make sure they feel loved and comfortable so I let them sleep on my bed with me and lay on the couch. I will very much appreciate if you make sure your pet is well groomed and recently had a bath :-) - SPECIAL NEEDS DOGS: Be very thorough and let me know if your dog needs any special care such as daily medication or anything else in particular, be detailed. I was used to providing daily seizure medication to my dogs in the past as they required it when they got older. Also, let me know if there are any other particular care needs or things that your dog is sensitive to, allergies, etc.
A typical day
I have a big backyard as I mentioned, with turf and gravel and plenty of room to potty and run around. I also have plenty of toys, chews, bones and balls for them to enjoy and play with other dogs (feel free to bring their favorite toys too for their stay). I also board other dogs constantly, so most likely I could have 1 other dog most of the time and your dog will have a play friend and companion.

I have a hybrid work schedule. I work from home on Mondays and Fridays and go to the office Tue, Wed and Thu regular 8am-5pm.
