I have had dogs over the past 18 years and love to run with them and I look forward to running with your dog! I am a retired teacher who loves to be outside. I am very trustworthy and dependable. I know how hard it is to get someone to stop by to exercise a dog.

Sergina is amazing with dogs! I helped her and her husband adopt a rather wild German Sheppard and that dog has become an amazing pet and part of the family. Sergina loves dogs but also knows how to keep them behaving (she was a middle school teacher for decades, so...) I wouldn't hesitate to let her take care of my dogs.

I love to talk with dogs and run and walk with them. A dog is part of the family and I treat all dogs as if they are members of my family. I love to hug them, pet them, throw balls or frisbees to them. I feed my dogs twice a day and take them out to exercise as much as possible. I also make sure to give as many training opportunities as possible when I am running or hiking with a dog. All dogs like different types of positive feedback and I try to find what works for them. For example, my dog is not a treat dog but loves to catch and chase Frisbees. Some dogs like treats, some love belly rubs and some just want to snuggle. When I meet someone with a dog most people are surprised by how much the dog will interact with me. I care for a pet by loving them!

I love all types of dogs. I think that it is important that the owner lets me know specifically what their dog likes, does not like, and what they need.
A typical day
I love to run and walk my dog around Cerise Park in Montrose, near the Billy the Creek wildlife refuge, and along the river bike path in Ridgeway. Dogs love car rides and I don't mind taking your dog with me to these wonderful places. I also have several frisbees and balls in my car for those dogs who love to catch and retrieve items!

I have just retired from teaching and I am very flexible with my time when I am not traveling. I live between Montrose and Ridgeway and I don't mind driving or biking to your home to help get rid of excess dog energy!
