Pet care experience
Hello!🌞 My name is Sereta, & I’ve joined Rover not only as a way to make extra money, but also as a way to spend some free time with animals! I love being active, cuddling and grooming pets, & am not opposed to face licks! I have had years of personal experience taking care of several types of animals, including: multiple cats & dogs (of various ages), 3 total kittens, 2 litters of puppies, parakeets & chickens. These experiences with caring for pets has mostly been within my own home, but has also often times been through house-sitting for others. Although I had spent a great deal of time caring for animals, I had never really thought of it as a serious way to make extra money for myself until recently; Which upon realizing I decided to expand my Red Cross First Aid abilities to include a new certification for “Cat & Dog First Aid”. This is something that I chose to do to be sure I am prepared, and to make pet owners feel comfortable that I can help with any kind of specific care or emergency while sitting or walking their animals. Thank you for taking the time to read my description & I hope to see you & your adorable pet(s) for a visit!😊
Reviews
Very responsible and dependable. Loves animals and is very attentive to their needs. Your pet would be happy and well taken care of, and adored.
Sereta is a loving and caring person who has experience with many dogs and other animals. She loves animals and will take great care of dog.
Sereta was a tentative dog sitter for us on several occassions. The dogs would mull her when she arrived and seemed to be sad to see her leave. She walked our babies, played with them, treated them as her own and even let them sleep with her on the bed, as we do! I always feel at ease knowing she is with them in our absence!
Sereta is SUCH a loving, kind, gentle person and so wonderful with pets. She grew up with a lot of animals and I know that she will love your animal just like its her own.

- Do they need any daily doses of medication? - What type of breed/size are they? - What is their temperament/normal behavior while being taken care of by their owner, & also around other people? - How well do they typically listen and obey when exposed to other people and pets in public areas? - How many times a day do they typically eat & what kinds of food are allowed to them? - How many times a day do they get taken to go potty, & have they been potty trained? - Are they used to getting treats & can get them casually, or associate them as symbols of reward for a task? (Being trained?) - Do they play well with other animals, or have been exposed to a cat for frequent periods of time before? - How much activity is your pet used to in a day, & do they have any kind of routine to follow that they might be used to? - Do they enjoy discovering new places, and or walking/hiking to new areas? - Do they enjoy playing in water, being on beaches, or swimming? - Are they used to, or do they enjoy getting groomed, brushed or getting baths? - Do they have issues with barking, or noise frequently?
A typical day
When taking care of doggos I love to go on walks, allow opportunities to play in water (if preferred by both the dog & the owner), play games & learn tricks with toys, do some brushing or grooming & sometimes a bath after being active for awhile, depending on their comfort level. For dogs with a more calm temperament I also enjoy doing more laid back activities either inside or outside, if your dog(s) happen to like just the company of someone while taking care of them, are older, or have a certain routine/nap schedule they are used to.
