Pet care experience
I grew up on a farm with a variety of animals. Growing up we bred Labrador retrievers and had a traveling petting zoo and pony ride. My family has also owned chihuahuas, pit bulls, and catahoulas. I have wormed dogs and applied flea/tick medication. I have some experience training dogs.

Serena was great!! She texted us with updates and photos while we were gone. Her communication with our situation was outstanding as our dog has anxiety issues. Serena is an excellent person to watch over your dog while you’re away. She’s responsible, kind, patient with all dog personalities, and makes sure they feel comfortable and safe. Serena is an avid outdoors adventurer so if you’d like your dog to be a tired and happy pup after hiking, swimming, or other activities, Serena would be the one to call. She’s often looked after my dog, giving her plenty of attention, love, and ball playtime. I highly recommend Serena to watch after your pet when you need it.
Serena is a great pet sitter. She has watched my dogs, cats and fish many times and they are always sad to see her go. She keeps my dogs in shape and healthy while I’m away.
Serena has watched my German shorthaired pointer, Dastey during the past summer season and provided her with the utmost care. She would take Dastey hiking in the cascade mountains and constantly update me with photos. Dastey loved to see Serena and would happily jump in her car for the next adventure. We wish she didn't have to move! Serena provided Dastey care and training as if she was her own. 10/10; would recommend.

I currently live in an apartment near NAU. There are many safe walking routes that I take my own dog on. I walk my dog twice a day (~4 mi/day) from my apartment.

It’s good to know how your dog interacts with others. It’s also important (for daycare or boarding) to know that your pet is dog/cat friendly. Since I walk in areas with lots of dogs, it’s also essential that all pets are fully vaccinated and taking the appropriate flea/tick/worm preventatives.
A typical day
There are trails and paths straight from our door that dogs can walk/run on! These sidewalks are frequented by many other people/pets. Though I live in an apartment, I try to create a fun play space for my dog as well as others!
