My husband and I are dog lovers who travel too frequently for work to have our own little buddy so we're hoping you'll let us hang out with yours! We work in public health and travel internationally about 40% of the time but when we're at home we both work from our home offices. Because we only accept dogs when we're available 24 hours a day your pup will never be left alone and will have the full (and enthusiastic) attention of two active adults who love life in Bend. The Mr. is an avid mountain biker who would love to get in a run with your dog, and there's a cozy place under my desk that's perfect for the pet who prefers a more leisurely pace but loves to be around humans. We're regular walkers and hikers for the pup who is somewhere in between. Our yard is fully fenced and perfect for the dog who needs a bit of time outside. We have no other pets and no children, so your doggie will be the focus of our attention and care. We don't always know our work schedule more than a few weeks in advance so we typically will only be able to book less than three weeks in advance. If you have last minute travel pop up (or you're still mastering the art of planning ahead) we might be a great option for you! We prefer that dogs sleep in our bedroom on their own bed or, if they prefer, in their crate in the living room. We've both been dog owners before and wish we could be now, but our current positions with an international NGO mean we can't be dog owners on a 24/7 basis. We're not in it for the money, just for the good company!
