Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Serena and I am a veterinary technician, who loves all critters, but dogs especially. I have been caring for dogs for most of my life in some way or another, either through volunteer work or caring for my neighbors and family pets. You can be assured that I will care for your dog as you would and feel at ease knowing they will be well cared for! I will be offering twice a day walks, drop by visits to feed and walk your pet, nail trims, ear cleanings and boarding at either your home or mine! I will only take one in my home client at a time, so you can be sure your pet(s) wont end up in a fight or catch anything from another boarder, my pets are also fully vaccinated and on flea and tick preventatives. I am also experienced with cats and a few exotic animals as well such as ferrets (You can see my guest setup for ferrets in my photos!), smaller birds, and some reptiles. Feel free to ask me anything!

Serena did a great job at taking care of my two fur babies. She maintained communication with me during the whole stay. She even went the extra mile and gave my littlest pup a bath when she noticed her being extra itchy. My Yorkie is allergic to just about everything and Serena took extra care with her to make sure hers medicines were given at the same time every day. I would recommend Serena to anyone looking for a dog sitter.
Serena was great with Churchill! She's a natural. He responded very well to her, and she made sure to send us a lot of photos. She let us know how our cat was doing and made sure to make us feel comfortable! Will definitely be using Serena again.

I would like to know if your pet is housetrained, crate trained, food or toy aggressive, dog reactive, or if they have a high prey drive. This is all important for ensuring that everyone is comfortable and most importantly SAFE. If your dog has any issues, such as separation anxiety or aggressive behaviors I will need to assess these before I allow them into my own home. I have experience working with animals like this so if your pet like this, it certainly is not a dealbreaker for me, I just need to prepare myself for handling any situation that arises. I will also require detailed instructions on any medications or other special regimes your pet follows if necessary so they can maintain their routine as closely as possible while they are away from you!
A typical day
I enjoy walks and playing with your pet to keep them engaged and busy. I also love lazy dogs that just like to cuddle and get their beauty sleep ;) Who doesnt like naps??
