I've personally owned & cared for dogs (and cats) my whole life. A house just isn't a home without a fur baby! In recent years, as my own pets have declined in health, I have become very adept at administering various medications, in different forms & with different breeds/animals/dispositions. I have cared for/house-sat with senior dogs who require very strict medication/walking/feeding procedures, so I know how to attend to every possible detail & keep a tight schedule. I have experience volunteering with multiple humane societies/animal services in the central FL area, so I've worked with a vast variety of breeds & age ranges of animals (and I'm not afraid of a mess.) I'm also very generous with hugs, kisses, & treats.

Serafina took care of our senior Pomeranian, Fisher, many times over the course of a year and a half. She was excellent! She stayed at our home to take care of Fisher, which was perfect for our sweet, old man. She administered medicines in pill and syrup forms, she cleaned his indoor grass-pad potty, fed him, took him outside, and kept his water clean and fresh. But most importantly, she gave him all the attention and love he wanted. She would send us sweet photos of him and check in with us each day. She made it clear she enjoyed being with him and that he was enjoying being with her too. The peace of mind Serafina gave us while we were out of town was invaluable; anyone would be lucky to have her take care of their special little pet.

My home is nestled in an area with 2 lakes/natural parks & a dog park, all within walking distance! Your dog can exercise & socialize to its heart's content. I have a small yard that is partially fenced, though I can provide a long cable leash/post if your pet is used to being outside. I live in a duplex, so there is a fair amount of room for multiple small pets or one larger dog. I currently own a cat, though he mostly ignores everyone & keeps to himself.

A typical day
My neighborhood has many surrounding parks & lakes that are perfect for leisurely strolls. One of them even has a a doggie obstacle course for high-energy pups! I'm also minutes away from downtown/Lake Eola, where there are many dog-friendly spots & activities.

Availability
I work in the evenings a few nights a week, so most of my days are free to provide as much loving attention to your pets as possible! I'd prefer doggy daycare/visits/walks to overnight stays, but I am quite flexible (and a sucker for puppy eyes.)
