Pet care experience
Hey there, I'm Sephra! I'm an animal lover and have had various animals all of my life, from dogs, cats, and birds, to horses, cows, and hamsters. I've had mostly larger mixed breed dogs, but my husband and I currently have an older Shih Tzu named Baxter and an energetic 5 year old German Shorthair Pointer named Hank. My husband John grew up training field champion labradors with his dad in Alaska. His dad still trains and competes with his dogs all across the US. Our house is two stories on a quiet street in east Plano with a good sized, fenced backyard. Your pup will have free range of the house, with frequent play/potty breaks in the backyard. We live a few blocks from Bob Woodruff Park, and I can take your pup for walks in the morning and/or evening. Baxter loves to spend his afternoons laying in the sunshine and Hank likes to run around the yard chase after squirrels and lizards. We spend almost all of our free time with the dogs - they’re like our kids! I'm dependable, reliable, and trustworthy. I know the feeling of leaving your dog -for any length of time- so I will do absolutely all that I can to make sure both you and your pup have the best experience. I'm more than happy to send pictures and videos to you while you're apart. I look forward to meeting you!
Reviews
Absolutely love having Sephra board our pups! She’s very attentive and caring of them, and just a wonderful person to work with.
Sephra was amazing! She was very accommodating to my two pups, gave plenty of updates, and took our booking on short notice. I could not be more grateful!
Sephra took great care of Chewy and kept us updated with plenty of pictures while he was there! We will definitely be boarding with them again in the future :)
The best sitter ever. You can feel how much she loves and cares for your fur babies thru her communication and pictures. Will be our go to furbaby sitter 100%!!

We don’t have a doggy door to the back yard, but I let the dogs out a couple of times each hour. (Hank loves to chase the squirrels but doesn’t like do well in the heat, so it’s a lot of out and in and out and in!) Our backyard is enclosed with a tall privacy fence. We can make some exceptions, but generally we do request that all Rover guests are crate trained to ensure everyone’s safety, especially if we have more than one guest over at a time. Please let me know what your dog’s typical routine is, and I’ll do my best to match that at our home!

Information Sephra W. would like to know about your pet
I don't have any breed preferences or restrictions, as long as they will be okay with my older small dog and an energetic Pointer. I would like to know: 1. Has your dog ever been aggressive toward other dogs, adults, children? Do you know what the situation was that caused that? 2. Is your dog on any medications? 3. Do they have any behavioral or special needs? Are they anxious? 4. Are there any dietary restrictions? Can I give treats? 5. Is your dog potty trained? Please let me know if there is anything else about your dog that would help to make his/her stay comfortable!
A typical day
Your dog will have frequent access to our fenced back yard. We play a lot of fetch in the yard and games with squeaky toys inside the house, and your dog is welcome to join in on the fun! We also go on walks in the morning and would love to take your pup along with us. Your dog will have free roam of the house and toys (Baxter and Hank are good with sharing) and your pup is more than welcome on the couch and bed - as long as you don’t mind!
