Reviews
Seongkyung and Jin showed ourndog Opie so much love and care and kept us informed. We would definitely have our dog stay with them again.
I am tearing up as I write this! Winnie’s last time with Jin and Agnus because we are moving! 😠Winnie LOVED them. They took such good care of our Winnie-girl that it will be hard to trust anyone else! Look no further for a babysitter - Jin and Agnus will take immaculate care of your fur baby!
The BEST!
Agnes and Jin watched marshy a 2nd time for 2.5 weeks and it went exceptionally well! They are so caring and thoughtful. I’m pretty sure my pup was sad to come home haha! I got tons of pics, videos and texts! I highly recommend Agnes and Jin!

Because we both are PhD students with 100% remote work, we usually stay at home 24/7 without any special occasions, meaning your dog will usually be with at least one person however long his/her visit is. :) If we should leave our home together, that will be no longer than 2 hours for a seminar to attend that is held about once out of two weeks).

Information Seonkyung & Youngjin Y. would like to know about your pet
Let us know about any special needs ahead of time to see if we can customize it to your dog! 1. If your dog is not getting along well with another dog, we should make sure to watch your dog alone. Please let us know ahead of time so we can update the calendar. 2. If your dog’s tummy is sensitive, I shouldn’t give human food or new treats, so let us know in advance! 3. If your dog should be careful with running, let us know too so we do not speed up while walking. 4. If your dog is still a puppy, please let us know how you’ve been training her (e.g., things that should not be allowed or should be repeated) Typically owners give an instruction that they want us to follow. 5. Any allergies/situations you may worry about (e.g., leash reactive to other dogs, sometimes eat their stools or things on the street), regular medications, etc. ** One last thing to note: It is hard for us to sit a barking dog because our neighbor is near enough to get disturbed. (Usually when she is a large one. Small one’s barking was relatively fine :P) **
A typical day
Jin LOVES playing with pups with toys especially when they are play-driven and have a good focus! As we work out everyday, if your pups are comfortable with jogging, we can shift our routine to jogging outside with them during their stay! We love to go to umn St. Paul campus, lake Como, Theodore park, and the riverside. We are enjoying visiting new places of late, so the list may become longer!! Lastly, we intentionally try to stay outdoors when getting rested, so we sometimes go to the lake with our chairs with the pup (she’ll be on leash tied to chairs and do tons of nose works!!)

We as dog sitters have a motto of "The happiest dog is a tired dog." To be more precise, that can be especially my husband's motto, and if I should choose mine, "We'd like to be a hotel for your doggie." Not sure if it is the case in America too, in Korea (very crowded Seoul), people sometimes stay at hotels in the city just to refresh and be rejuvenated. After a few experiences at Rover, we found it emotionally rewarding for doggies of course, but for the owners, too. All of the owners that we had met worried about leaving their loved ones in an unfamiliar space, even some of them feel a bit of guilt because they leave him/her. We thought that it does not need to be like that if your pet feels like "wow it was a fun and delightful visit" just like they stayed at a great hotel (hotel to doggies can be interesting food and a lot of exercises :D). So we hope you think you are not just letting others take care of your dog, instead, you are giving some great holidays to your loved ones! Cuddle and kisses? No worries on that because that was our naive but strong motivation for becoming a rover. :)
