Pet care experience
Hi there! I’m a local Boston native currently enrolled in a grad program. I have my own dog, Mercy, who is also dog friendly. I’m happy to accommodate all of your pet’s needs within reason. My family has always had dogs while growing up. I have volunteered at shelters and worked with dog training programs. I’m comfortable with fearful/anxious dogs, as I have had a lot of personal experience. I can also administer medication, as I’ve cared for pets with medical needs previously. I'm hoping to be able to spread my love to your pup! I want to make the environment positive and fun as much as possible. I am here for you when you need it!

Selina helped us out at the last minute over Christmas break. Just got back and our attention loving cat is very calm and happy!! Definitely the hallmark of a good sitter as he doesn’t like to be left alone. Selina spent a good chunk of time with him at each check in and was very flexible. She’s also a nice person :). Selina was absolutely amazing! She accommodated my same day request to watch my dog for 10 days, keeping me informed of his progress. Charlie returned to me happy indicating he was obviously very well cared for during his stay. Thanks Selina!
Our dog Joey stayed with Selina while we were on vacation. We joke that Joey was also on vacation during his stay with Selina. She took great care of him and she was very attentive to his needs. We plan to use Selina again if given the opportunity.
Selina was wonderful with our dog, Charley. She had many walks, lots of play, and generous snuggle time!

There is a small yard that is fenced outside of our apartment for potty use. I typically take my pup for multiple walks a day so that she can relieve herself. We have a large crate and lots of toys and pet beds as well for comfort.

Their likes/dislikes, including noises, humans, places, and other behavioral reactions. Allergies and feeding is important to know as well, especially if a dog may be reactive eating around other dogs.
A typical day
We will go on walks all over Allston/Brighton and Brookline! Sometimes we’ll go on car rides to the dog park (if possible). We can also play fetch and other games to burn off mental energy.

Availability
I have a normal routine for my dog where she goes out every 4-6 hours and eats a meal at breakfast and dinner. I’m happy to accommodate your current routine as my dog is flexible in her routine and it wouldn’t disrupt us!
