Hi! I am Selena, an engineer who loves dogs and cats, and has 2 cats of my own that I raised from kittens. I grew up with 3 cats since I was 3 years old, and over the last few years I've fallen in love with dogs too helping my old roommate raise her Aussie Shepard Border Collie Mix puppy, Sasha. I've helped take care of my roommate’s 3-year-old dog by taking her on hikes, watching her at the local dog park during the day, and taking care of her when my roommate is out of town for work regularly. I have a lot of experience watching pets since 2017 with Rover, and have had to do several special cases that required administering different types of medications. One such time, I watched a labradoodle whose paw was injured. I administered medicine to this dog while it stayed with me on several occasions and took him to the vet. I've also watched several cats with diabetes who needed insulin shots twice a day, and am comfortable giving any additional medication your pet might need. I also have experience with different species of pets such as pigs and rabbits. I work a regular 9-5 job during the week days (M-F), but am available early mornings and late afternoon to do drops in for cats or dogs during the week and all day on the weekends. I strive to provide the best care while you’re out of town or busy for your pet as if they were my own pet. I will make sure any special care is provided to the best of my ability, and keep contact with you throughout the stay and if any emergencies may arise.
