Pet care experience
I've been taking care of dogs, often large dogs, since I was very young. I grew up with dogs and taking care of them was always a responsibility expected of me and my brothers. Since adulthood, I still watch the family dogs all the time, watch friends’ dogs for extended periods, have lived with and helped take care of dogs and puppies, and am currently helping take care of a puppy. I'm a runner, so I love taking dogs for runs with me, if they are capable, and am always happy to walk, feed, bathe, have doggy play dates, and let dogs out to go to the bathroom depending on what each dog needs and owner wants.

We couldnt have been more happy having Sean watch Sophie while we were away, he was perfect! He is excellent at communicating and listening, he kept our home perfectly clean, and helped us with with watering plants. He kept us updated daily so we didn’t have to worry. I really appreciate the relationship and most importantly, we can tell Sophie loved him! We can’t recommend him enough, will definitely ask him to watch Sophie from now on. Thanks Sean!
Sean was such a good dogsitter for our one-year-old, energetic dog. He took her on runs/walks, trips to the dog park, and even hiking. Our house was well cared for while we were gone. Additionally, we had to change some logistical plans at the last minute due to a sick an aging second dog we have, but Sean was kind, flexible, and responsive throughout all our communication. He actually made a very special trip with our elderly dog possible for us so we could keep our younger one at home. As an aside, Sean was kind to my kids when he first met them, which I believe is a great indicator of how he treats pets as well!
I have known Sean for many years and have co-dog sat with Sean many times and can attest that he loves dogs, is very responsible and trustworthy, and your pet will love him! I trust him to take care of any of my pets or my friends’ pets.

I have taken care of a lot of dogs and will often help take care of the house at the same time (make sure doors and windows are locked, lights on/off, mail collected, plants watered, etc.). I'm patient with dogs and have had a lot of training in behavioral reinforcements (A.K.A. treats and attention) so re-crating, ending play time, or getting dogs to go out might take some time, but typically goes smoothly. I'm also happy to send lots of photos of our visits and/or adventures. Of course, I'll follow whatever rules and advice you have in place, so you and your dog are comfortable with a stranger watching them.

Availability
I have a lot of availability at the moment. I just finished my phd in psychology this May and am moving to New Jersey for residency at the end of June. In the meantime, I don't have many resposibiliies other than enjoying some free time. This makes me extremely flexible for the first half of the summer. I'm hoping to fill my transition time hanging out with some four legged friends.
