I have been a dog lover since before I knew how to say, "Dog!" I have had these furry, four-legged friends as a companion since I was 2 years old. I get them. They get me. I inherently understand dog psychology. As a strong pack leader, they are my disciples. I am an avid believer in Cesar Milan's principles; adhering to his mantra of "Rules, Boundaries & Limitations." I have a firm understanding of canine triggers, cues, fears and motivations. I know how to read their body language and effectively communicate using verbal and non-verbal cues. While I have personally trained over 10 dogs in my life, and recently took my Bull Terrier mix through 12 months of agility training, my biggest attribute is knowing how to read all dogs, interact with them in practically all settings and lead them in a calm and assertive manner. As someone who lives an outdoorsy and active lifestyle, I enjoy dogs who love to romp and play. I love catering to dogs' cravings, whether they are a fetcher, cuddler, or desire to be challenged mentally. For as much as I prefer to be busy with my pack, I certainly do not skimp on doggie down time--sharing lots of pets, rubs, hugs, kisses and spooning time with my beloved little beasties.
