Biggest dog lover in New Jersey
Pet care experience
I consider my love of dogs to be a defining feature of my personality. I'll often say hello to a dog before acknowledging its owner. Dogs > people. (I also love cats!) I grew up with a beagle and frequently cared for my neighbor's black lab for a week or two at a time. I occasionally look after my friends' and coworkers' dogs, but mostly I get my dog fix from neighbors and random dogs I meet out in the world. Unfortunately, my circumstances don't allow me to have a buddy of my own right now. That's why I joined Rover — so I can get the animal time I so desperately need. I'll love and care for your dog (or cat) like it's...well, any other dog (or cat!) — because I freakin' love them all.
Reviews
Sean was extremely reliable, punctual, and attentive. He communicated well and always in a timely manner. We felt that our dog was in excellent hands when he stayed with her! We are looking forward to using his services again the next time we go away!
Sean did an awesome job. They were happy and healthy on my return. I'll have him watch my animals when i go out of town again. The whole process was stress free. I liked that they have a check in/out text with pictures of their visits they send you.
Sean was an excellent house sitter and I would not hesitate to use his services again. He took care of my cat per my instructions exactly, was communicative and shared pictures of my cat daily, and left my home in perfect order. Thanks, Sean!
Sean took great care of our 4 fur babies during his overnight stay.

Some boarding logistics: I am currently in law school living with my parents. Somehow, my parents are not animal lovers, so I am only available for pet-sitting if I can stay at your house. I am happy to stay with your pooch(es) or cat(s) for as little or as long as you like. I understand not wanting a stranger to temporarily move into your house, but I also understand wanting your pet to have as much social contact as possible while you're away.
Information Sean L. would like to know about your pet
- Is your pup crate trained? (He/she doesn't have to be!) - How long can your dog be left alone? (See more info below) - How often should I take him/her out for walks? (I generally go every 3 hours) - Does your dog need a lot of exercise? - Is he/she prone to accidents? - Is he/she likely to get agitated if left alone with a stranger?
A typical day
I'll typically play fetch, or your pet's game of choice, for 15-30 minutes twice a day. Let me know your pet's needs re: walks. If you don't have specific instructions, my default is to take your dog for short walks every 3 hours or so, with one long walk of about 30 minutes each day.
