I have always loved dogs but have never been able to own one due to one of my siblings having an allergy. My pets: none at the moment! :( Previously I have had over 50 hamsters, a chameleon, a chinchilla, a newt, pet rats, many hermit crabs, a gecko, and many fish. Looking forward to meeting you!

Dog Boarding: We have a fenced yard to play in, and your dog will go on as many walks as needed, and then some! Safe suburban neighborhood with many other dogs and very close to parks etc. I generally avoid dog parks for safety reasons.

Is your dog fully potty trained? Many owners do not fully realize that a new environment or schedule can lead a dog to have accidents. Have they had any potty accidents in the past? Has your dog ever stayed at another person's house before, and how did they do? Many dogs have trouble adjusting to being both away from home AND away from their owners. If your dog is anxious it is better for them to stay home and request house sitting. Does your dog have severe separation anxiety, is afraid of new people, or has barking fits? Has your dog destroyed or ripped up furniture or belongings? Please be honest!
A typical day
House sitting: Let your dog show me around! A great part about house sitting is your dog gets to keep their routine! Have a favorite walk they love but you're just never up for it? We can do that while you're gone! As per my own schedule I will typically head out for an hour or two for errands or workout at some point in the day, and potentially any social engagements like a dinner with friends. Other than that I like to be on location with your pet as much as possible, but please understand I don't offer Doggy lockdown services. Dog Boarding: At least 20-30 minutes for a walk to the local grassy park down the street, two to three times a day as needed. Time to sniff around and explore our backyard (dogs love it!) Play with chew toys/tug o war, etc.

A lot of people wonder why I'm dog sitting. I currently work from home as an artist and graphic designer, meaning I can spend a lot of time with your pup, either in their own space they are accustomed to, or at my house. And, as a bonus you'll be supporting my art by giving me time to work on my paintings! A win win. :)
