I have taken care of hundreds of dogs and cats have sustained lifelong bonds with so many pets over the years. I would be delighted to meet your doggie ( or kitty! )and go for a walk or a hike (whichever they prefer!) I find all dogs (and cats!) have different personalities and preferences and I customize each walk to their needs and the instructions you provide. Whether is be a long vigorous hike or a relaxing stroll I pay attention to your dog and make sure they are comfortable, happy, and healthy. Your pets entrusted to me have all the belly rubs, attention, affection, and cuddling they need. I watch out for your pets and protect them from anything potentially unsafe or harmful. Your loved one will have emotional support, hugs and consoling along with fun adventures, exercise and mental stimulation. We play, we run, we stroll ,we sniff, and have fun! A little about me: I am 32 years old and born and raised in San Jose California. I attended San Jose State University for Communication Studies and Humanities. Currently, I am an intern fulfilling graduate program credits for Educational Psychology through Cal Poly Humboldt. I also work 5 days a week 8:45-3:15 at an elementary school. I have been a dog sitter since I was 15 years old. People describe me as empathic, mindful, kind, compassionate, and I go above and beyond in my work. I feel a deep connection with animals and I enjoy taking care of a variety of critters and attending to their needs. I also volunteer for the Sequoia Humane Society. Note: I am not a dog trainer, I am a dog sitter, companion, caregiver, and protector. I understand that it is nerve-wracking to leave your pets with an unfamiliar person. You are welcome to call me at anytime before, during or after the stay for reassurance and follow up. You precious pooch will be loved and cared for. I send daily photos, sometimes twice a day up to 20 photos to communicate that your loved one is in safe hands.

MEET & GREETS: -Meet and Greets are required before booking a house sitting request. -Meet and Greets are typically 30 minutes for house sitting and 10 min for boarding. -Remember ****There is only ONE meet and greet. I do not do multiple meet and greets***. -Meet and greets are no more than 45 minutes otherwise there is additional charge for my time ($5 per 10 min beyond 45 minutes). -If you wish to have an additional Meet and Greet or more time you can book through Rover a dog walking request for 30 minutes. -Please refer to my pricing on Rover; pricing fluctuates during the holidays*** -Please be prepared with your questions and anything that I should know about your house. -Instructions should also be provided in writing/print and accessible during the Meet and Greet. -Instructions should be legible in writing or preferably typed and printed out on the kitchen counter for me to review, emailed to me or uploaded to your Rover Profile. NEW CLIENTS for boarding, house-sitting, drops in, walking: Please answer all following questions before or during meet and greet (copy/paste questions) Some questions are for house sitting and other questions are for drops ins or walks, answer only the relevant prompts. *** Specify the requsted arrival window of time: What time you will be returning (house sitting only). 1. Meals: (how much, where can I find the food, snacks, allergies, picky eater? Food aggressive? Steal food from other pets? Garbage diver?) 2. Exercise regiment (when, how long, how far, where, fetch? play? does your dog get along with other dogs, how is your dog on the leash? where are the poopy bags) 3. Bedtime routine ( where does your pet sleep, are they allowed on bed/ furniture/ does your pet sleep through the night? What time do they go to bed and wake up in the AM?) 4. Medical (Veterinarian information, Medicine, vitamins, eye drops? allergies? Currently updated vaccinations and flea/ tic treatments?etc) 6. Miscellaneous: Does your dog have accidents in the house? Where are the cleaning supplies? Does your dog try to run away? Does your dog have separation anxiety? Crate trained? Anything specific your dog is disturbed by or afraid of? Information about the home: 1. Where is the fire extinguisher, flashlights, emergency supplies, first aid kit, tic remover, vacuum cleaner, hair brush etc. 2. What plants need to be watered (can show me in person during meet and greet) 3. Will there be other visitors coming and going from the house? 4. Where is the spare key kept? (optional) 5. Are all the doors and windows locked and secured to ensure safety? Is the backyard fully fenced ? 6. Do I have your permission to use the fridge, stove, oven, coffee maker, laundry machines? 7. Any other precautions I must be mindful of while staying in your home? 8. Mailbox? do I need to retrieve mail/ packages 9. Garbage day? When to take out garbage? where is the garbage/ recycle? 10. Wifi Network & password? 11. Does your dog have any aggressive tendencies? What are their triggers? If so how do you manage their behavior?
A typical day
I can accommodate most personality types and needs your pup may have. Some dogs prefer more personal space and wish for peace and quiet while other dogs enjoy more social activity and stimulation. All dogs must have a well fitted, secure, tested and reliable harness*** If dog tries to step out/ back out/ escape from harness during walks then it is not safe to go on walks or go to the park.

Availability
For drop in visits, I typically spend at last an HR or more with your pet ( even if rover says 30 min) depending on their needs and the specified arrangement. For house sitting I am typically home through out the weekends. On weekdays until June 7, I have a second job from 8:55-3:15. In the evenings I am gone for 2-4 hours as I train at the gym and do ballroom dancing. Your pooch will sleep wherever they are most comfortable ( usually they choose to be beside me at all times with easy access to their crate).
