Hello! I am a dog lover & artist living and working in Seattle, WA. I'm looking to start walking and dogsitting because it's something I love to do. I've been taking care of dogs all my life and I have a lot of unique experiences with all shapes and sorts of pup. I grew up taking care of my family's Schnauzer, Fritz and with my parents guidance I learned at an early age how to care for dogs. I've also worked at dog daycares and boarding businesses in Washington & my home state of Florida, where I gained experience with special needs dogs-- administering medicine, strict diets, etc. I have also dog sat for friends and family on occasion. It was always a real treat! I would often watch my friend Cindy's shih tzu, when she was at work or away on a trip. Boss, an old grumbly bassett, was probably the funniest dog I've dog sat. That was for about two weeks, while his human, Dave, was away on a trip to Denver. I'm very active and I love to walk. I walk about 6 miles everyday. If your dog needs a lot of exercise I can provide. If your dog loves to run, I'll run with them too. If your dog likes to take it slow and sniff every bush that's alright with me too. Moseying is my favorite kind of walking. Does your dog have a favorite spot they like to check out every day? Please let me know what kind of walk your pup prefers. I'll be happy to accommodate! I work part-time at a cafe in the U-District, mornings to early afternoons. A few times a week I have band practices in the evenings. Please let me know all your dog's needs.
