Pet care experience
I have worked in dog boarding facilities, in horse barns, and worked as a veterinary technician for two years prior to moving to Syracuse for school. As a technician I assisted in surgeries, provided monitoring of patients, and worked with many elderly animals. I also enjoy being outdoors, hiking and walking dogs. I ride horses locally in my free time. I am willing to watch other animals as well including birds, reptiles, and felines. I am comfortable administering medications, and staying overnight with your pets. It would be a pleasure to make your dog comfortable, happy and safe!

Seaira was spectacular! She was able to get my extremely shy kitty to come out and socialize on only the second visit. She sent tons of updates and was great with all of my animals. Made going away for vacation extremely relaxing!

Seaira was great with my dogs! They were immediately comfortable with her at the meet and greet which put me at ease leaving them home while I went away. She kept the dog mess cleaned up- which is impressive with the rate my dog destroys toys! Would definitely recommend her to my friends and family.

My dog gets walked multiple times a day with longer more extending hikes on weekends or after work. We engage in regular obedience training and play dates with other dogs for socialization. I can be flexible based on the needs of your individual pet. I am happy to exercise them in or outside the home, go for regular walks, crate training etc.

My own dog was anxious and reactive when we adopted her, but has gotten so much better over the past year with training and exposure. I am happy to watch dogs that have anxiety or triggers, we would just need to discuss them in advance so that I am prepared to react.
A typical day
Treat training, hiking, swimming, dog play dates, frisbee, fetch just to name a few. I am happy to snuggle, brush, and pamper your pet while you are away. I love any local rail trails and hikes in the Catskills.

Availability
Pet care is a top priority in my house. With having both a cat and a dog, I find time to love and play with both of them. Our Australian Cattle Dog is very high energy and requires a great deal of exercise and training.
