Pet care experience
Hello! I found a dog just as I was leaving for college that became our family’s first dog. She lived a long and happy life and I was always happy to spend time with her and care for her when I was home or lived close enough to my dad. Since returning to Los Angeles in 2014, I’ve been happily living with dogs, house-sitting, and now am a proud owner and trainer of a sweet and smart lab/boxer named Mickey. We take multiple long walks throughout the day and make a point to practice our skills on our walks and at our local parks as well as working on our training daily. I’m a firm believer in providing positive reinforcement in order to communicate to the dogs what they should be doing as opposed to what they shouldn’t. I try to make sure all dogs I’m around are physically, mentally and emotionally taken care of throughout the day. We have a wonderful front yard that allows to get some of our energy out and potty breaks at the house as well as having multiple parks nearby for higher energy output and more space for fun!

Marvel spent a nice week-end with Scott and Mickey. Scott is flexible and nice. You can feel that he loves dogs! They went for a 8 miles hike. We will definitly work with him again!
My dog wants to leave me & move in with these people (but I won't allow it) so we book Rover stays here as often as possible! Scott is a great caretaker & Cedar loves playing in the fenced yard.
Scott was great with our dog, Karma. He has a puppy of his own so he requested a meet and greet before confirming the booking to see how the dogs got along (instant best friends). It made us feel super comfortable and sure about leaving Karma with him. Scott sent constant updates with photos and videos about Karma and we could see she was having a great time. She seemed very happy to see us but she was also sad to leave Scott. I’m sure she wanted to stay longer. She even walked back to his patio while we were getting her stuff in the car. I absolutely recommend Scott to take care of your dog!
Scott was great dealing with my high energy dog. He was kind enough to meet up with me before my drop off appointment. Nelson was well cared for and Scott was great at sending updates. We’d love to book Scott again.

We’ll make sure to go on multiple enjoyable and safe walks around my neighborhood while also working on various training exercises and learning at home. We can also make a point to visit the dog park as well if the owner approves.
