Pet care experience
Over the years, I have had a lot of experience with both cats and dogs. For the past several years, I have been employed at a doggy day care in the Somerville area. There, I worked in several departments– as a dog walker, a pen attendant, and as an in-home pet sitter. That job gave me the opportunity to work with a wide range of dog sizes and breeds and I really got to know the behavioral and personality traits of all of them. In addition to my job at the doggy day care, I have also worked as a petsitter for several years. These positions were as small as stopping in to feed animals to stays at the home that lasted a week. I have always had a deep love for animals of all kinds and I hope you will trust me to take care of your furry family members.

Your search for a perfect pet sitter stops with Scott. He is the absolute best with my dogs and is one of only about two people I would trust to take them on walks without my own supervision. I have three 60lbs sled dogs, and one of them is incredibly leash reactive (towards dogs and cars). I entirely trust that Scott can handle his issues and getting my pups the exercise they need in a safe and fun environment. Your search for the perfect pet sitter should begin and end with Scott. Scott is a good friend of mine whom I've known for over 20 years. For the last several years he's worked at a dog daycare during the winter months when not working his seasonal job, and I must say it's been a treat for me. He frequently sends me photos of the dogs, let's me know their names and personalities, likes and dislikes. He clearly cares a great deal for the dogs he's been charged with taking care of, and would frequently tell anecdotes of how he would ensure dogs were getting along and playing safely in the pens at the daycare. He would be a knowledgeable, caring, and engaged worker to add to your workforce and I highly recommend him for the position.
