Pet care experience
I'm a life-long pet owner and have been working through Rover since 2022. I have experience with various breeds, including puppies and senior dogs. I'm familiar with basic training techniques and enjoy lots of activities with our furry friends!
Reviews
Scott took very good care of our Goby. He sent us pictures often and walked Goby a lot which he loves. Goby was happy and healthy when we picked him up after being in Scott's care for 11 days. I will definitely contact Scott again.
This was our second time having Scott watch our pup while we were out of town and again cannot say enough good things. Zuke looked so happy in all the update pictures we got throughout his stay and he’s exhausted after all the walks and playing he got to enjoy while there. He might need a vacation from his vacation! Thank you!!!
Scott and his wife did an amazing job keeping our pups active, safe and comfortable. They seemed very happy and we loved the pictures of their walks, lounging around and napping. We would highly recommend them and will not hesitate to use them again! The pups came back to us happy and we were very pleased with their care when we were away!
Scott let me relax - he and his wife were organized, excellent with the dogs and very communicative. I would recommend them to friends and family.

Pet care is my full-time job so your pet will be my primary focus. I'm highly active with walks and yard activities, so your pet will return home tired and healthy! My wife works from home, so if I leave for other walks or drop ins, your dog will still be supervised. We have a very well-trained and highly socialized dog, as well as a cat that gets along with other cats and dogs. If your pet needs special care though, such as crating or being kept separate from others, that is not an issue as we have a spacious home that can accommodate various situations. We do not have a fenced in yard, but dogs are always taken out for potty breaks with a leash. I also walk your dog at least once a day (depending on weather, age, and physical needs of your dog). If your dog needs help with basic commands or socialization, I'm happy to work with them on these issues, as I have a lot of experience in canine training. We only take 3-4 dogs for boarding/day care at a time, so the dogs get the attention they need with minimal stress. In the rare instance both my wife and I need to leave the home, it is never for more than a couple of hours and the dogs are separated (or crated if you prefer) and monitored via cameras. All meals are highly supervised with dogs separated as needed. The safety and well-being of your pet is our primary concern at all times and we treat our guest dogs as if they are our own pets. We have developed a lot of regular clients at this point that are comfortable in our home and we are told they get excited when their owners drive into our neighborhood. Our goal is for your dog to feel like this is their "home away from home."

Information Scott F. would like to know about your pet
I would need to know of any medical issues, including medication that needs to be given or injuries that need special attention. Also, if there are any significant behavioral issues to watch out for with humans or other animals. I also need information regarding their meals (with food provided) and where they normally sleep. We will try to mimic what they are used to at meal times and bedtime.
A typical day
I am seen daily by our neighborhood walking our guest dogs. In nice weather, I enjoy taking the dogs on local hiking trails or doing agility drills in my backyard. I try to pair up dogs that are in the same size, age, and physical level so they become a pack and enjoy their time together in our home. My motto is: A tired dog is a happy dog!

Availability
This is my job 24-7, so I have a lot of flexibility to fit your pet in my schedule. However, I only take a limited number of dogs in my home, so book early if possible.
