Hi! I am retired and home full time. Plus I am one of the pet sitters who has undergone advanced screening that culminated in a home inspection and background check. Dogs and art are my passion and has been a career for over 8 years now. Many of my clients appreciate that I generally take just one or two family's dogs at a time. Your pup’s safety is my number one concern. My fees for each overnight stay of up to 24 hours is $33. If you need two dogs boarded the second dog is $27. Puppies who aren’t house broken are $38. If you need over a 24 hour period, but under 48 hours, the extra time is prorated. For example, a stay of 36 hours would cost $30 + $15 = $45. Why I love dog sitting. Every dog I’ve ever met, has provided unconditional love and loyalty. Who wouldn’t love that? My wife, son, daughter, and I make up the biggest dog loving family you will ever meet. Our son Matt is also a Rover sitter and is mostly available if I’m overbooked. About our home. We do have several large indoor gates that can be used in case we have a mix of breed sizes who might need a “time-out “. We can separate them yet keep them all safe and comfortable. We have a doggie door too and a sliding glass door to access the back yard. As mentioned, safety is our number one goal. All doors and the doggie door are locked at night. I have some experience administering medication if needed. I’m semi-retired and work in my home art studio when not too busy attending to our furry friends. They are always welcome and mostly spend time with me there which is located inside our home. We have an extra bed, a cushy sofa, and a large crate available if needed. Extra bowls too, but often they like to use their own.
