I've been around and taken care of dogs my whole life but I don't have time or space for my own. I frequently have time during the day to stop and take out my friends dogs so why not do it for others too? I'm a former Great Dane owner (among other large to giant breeds) and have been around dogs of all sizes. I dog and house sit for many of my friends (because they don't trust anyone else) and have realized that many other families in the area could use a trustworthy and punctual dog helper from time to time. My regular job has odd hours and since I have free time often during the week it only makes sense to help my neighbors out some while making a little bit of money.

First time using Rover and we found Scot. Duke loved Scot and his walks. Scot kept us informed on how Duke was doing and how everything was going. We will continue to use Scot in then future.
Scot has been a saving grace over the past year as we have traveled. Not only has he cared for our two Great Danes, he has taken care of our house as well. Scot is the best about sending pics/updates on the dogs when we are out of town. We feel very fortunate to have someone so trustworthy to take care of the ones we love the most!!
I have one Great Dane and she is rather testy with new people. The first time Scot met her it was clear he was no stranger to big dogs. I have never kept her on a leash ever. Now Lola (my Dane) actually gets irritated when I don’t walk her and only let her out back. Thanks Scot....... Seriously though, he does a great job and Lola loves him. I am grateful for him being so good with my dog.

A typical day
I love to be out in the woods on a trail with a dog, but what we do depends more on what the dog likes and can handle. The last thing I would do is something too strenuous for an older dog or risk taking a dog to a park without knowing how they will act around me.
