Pet care experience
I grew up on a farm with every kind of pet from dogs and cats to reptiles and horses. My friends often ask for help with training, care and feeding and I have raised multiple cats and dogs from puppy/kitten-hood, to adulthood. My friends and family often call me the dog whisperer because I can coax timid dogs to my hand and work well with pets who have anxiety. I have a full time job but I’m available before and after work as well as lunch time if near my workplace and on weekends. I’m an avid runner/walker and enjoy long trips around the neighborhood. I also recently lost my 15 year old Scottish Terrier to old age, so I’m responsive to the needs of dogs throughout their lifespan. I’ve lived with cats from Siamese to tabby and understand the quirks of the breeds.

Schellene is the perfect pet sitter, she understands the varied emotional and physical needs that my girl has and always accommodates her. I love how my Lily’s face lights up when she see’s Schellene, it makes me feel good that Lily is in great hands. As an over perfective doggy mom, I really appreciate the updates on their adventures.

Anyone who has known Schellene for more than three minutes knows she cares intensely for animals. She and her dog Angus were inseparable throughout his long life. Whenever animals are nearby, they receive her complete and undivided attention. She is endlessly inquisitive about their backgrounds and the details of their care. As a result, animals (especially dogs) seem to have a natural affinity for Schellene. Dogs may be man's best friend, but Schellene is definitely theirs.

Tell me if your dog is excitable, likes quiet time, prefers to avoid other animals, or has quirks that are unusual.
A typical day
I like to go on walks around neighborhoods and at car shows, to Home Depot and local parks. I am a master at playing ball and frisbee, and i know some fun parks we can go to to play in the water. I’m a big fan of car rides and I like to give dogs opportunities to socialize with people and other dogs.
