Scharli's dog boarding
Pet care experience
I have been around dogs for as long as I can remember. Our family dog was a wire hair fox terrier named Tugger, he was a wonderful dog who loved swimming and of course, as his name suggests, tugging on ropes and other toys. I now own a 10 month old golden retriever named Jax. He has a lot of personality but at heart he is a big cuddle bug. Since he still has some puppy energy, we take him to the dog park often or simply play frisbee in our yard. Although Jax is nearly 60 pounds, I think in his head he is about 20lbs so he really likes playing chase with smaller dogs. He gets along well with other dogs, however he gets intimidated by dogs who are on the more aggressive side. I live in a duplex with a private fenced yard with a good amount of space. I am very trusting of Jax so he gets free range of the house and sleeps in my bed. I have a heart for all animals, especially dogs- some even call me the dog whisperer, although I am no Cesar Milan.
Reviews
My dog is ALWAYS so happy when I return, and I KNOW it's because he's had such a wonderful vacation!
We could not have had a better first boarding experience with Scharli and her husband. She was super friendly and responsive, and was extremely accommodating of our schedule. Bowie came home relaxed, happy, and tired from lots of play time! She's normally a little shy around new dogs, but she had a blast playing with Jax -- and we got a sweet video of them playing together. We'll definitely be boarding with Scharli again!
Mully's second stay was great! Tail was wagging when I picked him up - he was super happy and relaxed so I am sure he had a great visit!
Scharli did a great job with Mully. I had absolutely no worries! Will be booking Mully's next stay after I save this review!

My first year with Jax has been great, but not without its challenges. It turns out Jax has a sensitive stomach, which I learned after many costly vet bills and months of poo problems. During that time, I learned the process of making bland food like chicken and rice or pumpkin and turkey, so I understand and can certainly accommodate a dog with similar tummy troubles.
