I am a college student who loves connecting with and caring for animals. I've always had a passion for spending time with animals. I have spent many hours volunteering for animals at humane societies and playing with different breeds of dogs. I am new to Bradenton and always looking for new opportunities to help and meet others. I am a very observant person and I pay attention to an animal's body language and behavior to know just what they need. i'm a flexible, easy-going, and positive person who loves to be active especially when there's an animal around! I've always had animals and they will always hold a special place in my heart. I am very teachable and open to any personalized accommodations your pet may require!I live in a condo with a large backyard area(not fenced in). I also live less than half a mile away from a large park with walking trails and fenced in dog areas that I enjoy taking dogs to! Depending on the pup, I have walked up to 11 miles/day with some pups! I know how important exercise is and I enjoy spending time with every dog and exploring nature at places like Robinson Preserve and Desoto National Memorial. If the pup is very old or has health issues, I of course don’t push them to exercise. It all depends on your pup and his/her need.

If you are looking for a very loving and professional dog Walker, Savannah is your only choice! We were on vacation and hired her to walk our two Wired Hair Griffs. She came a day early to meet them, acclimate herself to the dogs, their needs and she answered all questions and asked questions too. Our dogs adored her. She went beyond what we needed and I know when we book our next vacation she will be our dog Walker. Thank you Savannah for taking such good care of Willow and Luna. They enjoyed their walks with you! That week flew by!
Savannah took such wonderful care of our “old” man while we were away. It had been such a long time since we left Hudson with anyone and we are very grateful to have found Savannah…was able to relax knowing Hudson was well cared for.

Savannah was absolutely amazing with Dixon! We rarely leave him with someone he doesn’t know but after this weekend, he loves her! She took him on plenty walks, cuddled him and gave him all the attention he wants! Whenever we come back we will definitely be using Savannah! Such a sweet girl and clearly loves dogs! Couldn’t recommend more highly!

I never take a dog outside without a leash on, I am very cautious when opening the door so that they don’t escape. If your pup is crate trained, I’ll gladly follow any directions you give me.

I accept and love ALL breeds of dogs. Before I sit a dog, I would like to know if they get along with other dogs, how often they bark, and if they have separation anxiety. And if so, how can I be here for them while they get comfortable and settle in? We will hopefully cover all of these things at a meet and greet! If your pup isn’t comfortable with other dogs and you request that he/she be the only dog in my care, I do charge a higher rate.
A typical day
Whatever kind of personality your pet has, I can adapt to it quickly and recognize their needs and wants. I could play with dogs for hours if that’s what they want. If they would rather lay on the couch and sleep most of the day, that’s perfectly fine too! I just love their company. We will go on walks and make sure they have plenty of water afterwards! We can play with toys, whatever we do, I assure your pet will be entertained and never lonesome

I am an online student so my schedule is very flexible. I am home 90% of the time and if I need to run a quick errand, I have a camera set up so that I can make sure your pup is ok. When I do need to leave, I always exercise dogs before so that they are tired and sleep while I’m gone. I am never gone for an extended amount of time
