Over the years, I have spent many hours connecting with and caring for dogs of all shapes and sizes. My love for dogs dates back to when I spoke my first word which was not “mama” or “dada” but was in fact “dodo” in reference to our neighbor’s dog. Growing up, I formulated countless arguments with PowerPoint presentations to convince my parents to buy me a dog. Finally, at the age of 10, my parents surprised my siblings and I with two puppies! Our puppies were immediately part of the family and I loved both of our miniature schnauzers so much that when the second one passed, I knew I had to get a schnauzer of my own. Ruby Lou is now almost 2 years old and she is the most friendly dog you will ever meet! I was fully dedicated to all aspects of her training as a puppy, taking weeks off of work to acclimate her to her new environment, keeping a puppy socialization checklist, and working diligently with her on commands. All of the hard work paid off because she is now so well behaved and loves all dogs and people! Her best friends include a wide range of dogs from a 15lb Cavalier King Charles Spaniel to a 90lb Labradoodle mix, most of whom I have dog sat or walked for their owners as well. I also have experience cat sitting!
