Hello, my name is Savannah and I currently live in Lemon Grove, CA. I am a 24-year-old full time student and work part time at an elementary school so weekends will be my best availabilities. My pets: I adopted a 5 year old dog from the meat trade in January 2019 and she went from being scared out of her mind around everyone and everything to coming out of her shell and only being semi-cautious in the amount of time I’ve had her. She has given me lots of love and fun times and I can no longer imagine life without her. Her name is Clover. I also had a cat named Buddy for 17 years of my life and his entire life (minus the first few months). Sadly, he passed away with complications due to his elderly age earlier in October. I miss him very much but am so happy for the time I’ve had with him. Other experience: I worked for Rover when I lived up in WA a few years ago and I took care of dogs, cats, rabbits, and fish while their humans were away. No one ever seemed to have any issue with me and were usually happy with the amount pictures I took of their little loved ones for them. Prior to this, I lived with my sister and her little dog, who I often took care of when she had late nights at work or school. I also grew up having pets my whole life and even helped take care of my step-dad’s police dogs when I was in high school. I also would house and dog sit for my grandparents when they were out of town. My experience administering medication: Personally, I have only administered an oral pill by hand to my cat. For dogs, I have only had to stick a pill inside a treat so if there is anything different I’d need to do, please give me instructions and I will likely be fine doing it!
