We’re kind of like that crazy sitcom family with kids and dogs running around everywhere, but I wouldn’t have it any other way! I’m a work from home mom to three-six loving, rambunctious kiddos (ages 6,7,8, 9, 14 and 17)and and we are looking into getting a pup soon now that our older girls have passed on. My husband Mitch and kids love being able to have dogs in the house and will also be around to play with them or snuggle up on the couch while doing their homework or watching TV. I’m at home all day working while the kids are at school, so it’d be great to add some furry friends to our happy family. I’m an extroverted person, so I generally dislike being alone. My personal motto is the more the merrier! I’ve always been a caretaker type and being a mom is what I was meant to do in this life and this extends to animals, especially dogs. I obviously adore my children, but my unconditional love also extends to my fur babies and all other pups I come into contact with––I honestly haven’t met a dog I didn’t fall madly in love with. I’ve been dog-sitting for friends and family for over ten years but I’d like to broaden my clientele base and meet new people and their pups since I have both the time and the means. I also have experience with special needs dogs and have taken care of diabetic, blind, and deaf dogs. I’m very comfortable administering oral and injected medications, and am qualified to watch over just about any breed. Our home is kid and pet friendly! I also like to get in several good walks while the kids are in school, so we’ll all be able to hit the trails together. When everyone gets home from work and school, we all like to hang out together. When I was a child, I used to volunteer at dog shelters and helped clean up their cages––I guess you can say I was always destined to clean up poop being a mom to kids and dogs! Even though it can get a little nuts in the house with all these personalities and bodies, I absolutely adore the energy and purpose I feel taking care of my loved ones. When I’m not preparing meals or doing the laundry, I also love to paint and make crafts! I know how difficult and stressful it can be to leave your beloved pup behind, so I want to provide a safe and stress-free environment for you while you’re away.
