There’s just nothing like getting to spend time getting to take care of a pup or kitty. They’re always there for you, and ready to open their hearts to you no matter what! Their loving, selfless spirit has always been inspiring to me, so being a dog and cat sitter and walker is really a dream come true for me. Not only do I get to spend time with cuddly animals, I also get to make sure that they have all the love and care they need to thrive. I’ve been a volunteer at animal shelters, and absolutely loved taking care of pups there, so being a dog/cat sitter and walker really is the next best step for me in that regard. I'm home full time and although I’ll be the primary caregiver for your pup or kitty, my house is full of puppy love! I also have three pups of my own, Lyhla, Moose and Maple. Lyhla is my Chihuahua-Dachshund mix and is very sweet and quirky. She is a little bit pushy sometimes but warms up to new dogs very quickly. Maple is my Shepherd mix, she loves attention and is always ready to play with her favorite chuck-it ball. I watch my parent’s Chihuahua-poodle mix, Rat Terrier and Boykin Spaniel regularly, they love playing with new friends and a very sweet dogs. When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup/cat and your care expectations. No one knows your pet better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new animals! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. I believe that communication is the key to any good stay. Even before the stay starts, I like to get as much information about you and your pet as possible, so that I can start thinking early on about how to design the dream vacation for your baby. When your pet is under my care, you can look forward to regular updates with accompanying pictures, so you can see just how much fun your pet and I are having together! I am always happy to keep puppy parents in the loop about anything, from exercise times to meals to behaviors. *EARLY DROP-OFFS BEFORE 8AM AND LATE PICK-UPS AFTER 8PM ARE AN ADDITIONAL $30
