Critter care extraordinaire
Pet care experience
Hello all! My name is Savanah, or Savi. I have worked with animals for 17 years, doing pet care specifically for 9 and continue to do so full time. From being a Zoo Teen, to being involved in rescue and working for shelters & sanctuaries, I've been fortunate to gain knowledge and hands on experience with a large variety of animals, and breeds, including exotics! I also have experience with behavioral rehabilitation, obedience training, basic training, and hospice care, as well as some medical assistance. I last worked for a Guardian breed rescue that specialized in Mastiffs, & large dogs before I decided to focus on more full time pet care. Now I look forward to working with your critter companions and providing a fun, and welcoming, home away from home for them to enjoy.
Reviews
Great, reliable and friendly service. Our dog was very well-cared for and we were kept informed throughout the stay.
Savanah took care of my dog Otto for a couple of weeks and it could not have worked out better! She shared updates every day and showed a lot of love to my pup. I highly recommend her if you’re looking for someone to take care of your dog.
Eiger feels safe and is well taken care of at Savanah’s. I’m so grateful and would trust her judgment in amy situation.
Savanah was great taking care of our Libby who can be a high energy dog. She regularly sent pictures and was very active with her.

Safety, trust & environment
I am personally insured for pet care under the Pet Sitters Associates. My cat has his own room that is gated off, he will be kept 100% separate unless otherwise discussed. I have a small, comfortable home, with a large fenced in backyard and small fully fenced side area. I usually share the backyard with my duplex neighbors and their dog friendly lab mix Mason but he has no access to the side area, which is gated off. When necessary I let my neighbors know that a pup needs private yard time, and they will keep Mason inside, and go on rotating schedules for backyard time.

Information Savanah B. would like to know about your pet
Do they have any medical needs, allergies or food sensitivity? Do they have any behavioral issues, or potential triggers to look out for? Are there certain techniques you use to make them more comfortable? Any quirks or favorite activities? What type of training & commands are they familiar with?
A typical day
Daily activities include lots of backyard play time, with plenty of room for fetch, running, and enrichment training. Breaks, and nap times, with opportunities for lounging on the couch, and for the lap dog inclined, cuddles, and affection. For adventurous pups there is a nice paved trail that has good sniffing locations, and fun exploration areas during walks. For the extra energetic pups there is a stop on the trail where we can work on some basic agility activities to really help tire them out, and a park nearby.

Availability
I am home a majority of the time, with only some work out of the house. Given that I work with animals full time I am usually able to accommodate constant care needs, and am happy to do so when informed.
