Pet care experience
Hi FurPawrents! My name is Sasha. I've got a love and passion for all pets, big and small. Having grown up with all sorts of pets, I have developed a soft spot for animals. When I was growing up, we had a family Dachshund who I had the pleasure of enjoying my childhood with. Last year, I rescued a 3 month old puppy. Until he was 1 year, I have raised and trained my own pup, he was an Am-staff/Corso mix, so I'm very comfortable with big dogs. (My brindle boy featured in my profile picture and first two pictures). I dog sat for a few people who had a variety of breeds such as a Labrador retriever, Shih Tzu, Cockapoo, Greyhound and German shepherd. If you have a puppy and you'd like me to work with you and your little one on walks in terms of training, handler interaction, leash walking I'd be more than happy to! Dogs are truly my passion, can't wait to care and meet your fur babies:)
Reviews
Very responsive, caring and professional with my pup!
Sasha is an amazing sitter. She took care of my pup like her own. She was very fast in responding to all my texts and communicated daily with lot of pics and observations. She was also proactive in asking for toys she could use to play with my pup. Would definitely recommend her.
Sasha checked in on our cat Winnie while we were away for the weekend. It was good to know she had a friend to spend some time with while we were gone. Thank you for the photos and updates! They seemed to be happy cuddle buddies while we were away.
Sasha was amazing with my English Bulldog Snacks! She wore him right out on their walks, he was super happy to go with her, and she was a great communicator. Could not recommend her enough!

I live in an apartment, so unfortunately I have no yard. That doesn't stop me and pets in my care from having fun though! I have many wonderful little parks next to me with lots of greenery. I love to walk and jog, so I can tire your pups out anyway you'd like. We have a lot of areas in Etobicoke that I can take your pup to. If your dog is reactive to people/dogs or sensitive to loud noises I can accommodate no problem. I understand what it is like, believe me, I have had to do it for my own pup when he was in his fear period and the same big rock would terrify him every walk lol. I will find a nice walking routine that fits your pups needs and follow your requests simultaneously.

Information Sasha P. would like to know about your pet
It's important for me to be aware of any complications or special information I might need in terms of your dog. Allergies, special needs, dog/people reactivity, leash frustration and any other type of little unique things that I could do to make your dogs time with me as normal and enjoyable as possible. I really want to be prepared for everything as best as I can be!
A typical day
Like I mentioned earlier, I have a few nice spots in my neighborhood. I love to engage with dogs mentally and physically. Teaching an old dog a new trick, sure I'll give it a go! Training, simple obedience is the best way to tire a pup out any age. Typically what I would do with my own pup was to go out for about 1 hour and 30 minutes. First 15 minutes is for the pup to relax, sniff do it's business and have a calmer state of mind. The next 15 minutes, I'd engage in leash obedience, heals, sits, stays, etc simple commands. For the next 30 minutes I'd attach his long line to my belt and he'd have 30 feet of safe freedom. The last 30 minutes would be again some training on our walk back home.
