Pet care experience
Hi! I'm Sasha and I am honored that you would choose me to care for your pet. My journey with animals started back in 2014 when I began a job at PetSmart as a Pet Care Associate. It was a perfect place to gain experience with exotics and a passion to drive for more. My next step was to further my education and advance my career in the animal field. With a new job at a veterinary clinic and an acceptance letter to Canisius College for their Animal Behavior, Ecology, and Conservation program I did just that. After graduating in May of 2020 I accepted a job at Sit N Stay Pet Services as a Canine Enrichment Counselor. My position required me to be attentive to behavior around the clock. A large portion of the job was to train canines through positive reinforcement and a strict program. I loved the job but unfortunately said goodbye a year later to finish my master's at Buffalo State College. With my skill set ranging from the medical field to behavior and training, I believe your pet is in the best hands with me. I hope to meet you and your furry family member soon.

Keeping a constant eye on pets while they are outside is a major priority, even with a fenced-in yard it is best to stay attentive. Keeping your pet calm and comfortable in every environment is my goal.

A typical day
I am a strong believer that mental activity is just as important as physical activity for everyone even animals. Along with their walks and playtime, I would provide your dog with fun games and puzzles to get their brain thinking. A fun activity that incorporates both of these things at the same time is positive reinforcement training. Even small cues like sit, stay, and lay down can enrich your pet mentally.

While I am finishing my semester my weekends are the most available with afternoon availability during the week. After May my schedule opens back up.
