I know how difficult it can be to find quality care for your best friend while you’re away, so I became a pet sitter to help owners make sure their pup gets the love and affection they need while you’re away! I’ve been a lifelong dog lover, so getting to work with dogs really is a dream come true for me. I love all of their unique personalities and getting familiarized with all of the different breeds! To me, there’s just nothing better than seeing the smile on a dog’s face when they know that they’re loved and well taken care of. I have over 12 years of professional experience with dogs as a walker, sitter, and pet stylist. I volunteered for two years at the Hayward Animal Shelter as a “dog pet pal” and loved every minute of it. It was a great opportunity to learn some of the ins and outs of proper animal care, and I got to spend lots of times with dogs that really needed it. I’ve been a dog owner since I was 8 years old and can’t imagine my life without them! I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet when taking on a new client. Meets are always a great opportunity for us to get acquainted with one another, make sure that we’re all a good fit, and chat face-to-face about some of the specifics of the stay! Plus, I always like to introduce myself to your pup and make new friends with them before starting the stay, as I feel it really helps everything go by much smoother. I will always ask lots of questions about you and your pup at the meet in order to find out just what makes your dog tick and see what I should be principally aware of as well. A high quality stay is based around excellent communication. After all, no one knows your dog better than you do! I like to get as much information as possible before the stay begins so I can start tailoring our time together to fit your pup’s needs. I know that dogs are creatures of habit, so I’ll make sure to follow their schedules and habits to a “T” to make sure that they feel happy and comfortable with me. I’ll also be very forthright with my communication to you so you can be kept up to date on all of the details, like how your pup is getting along and what we’ve done throughout the day. That also includes lots of cute pictures, too!

I just got a new dog and needed some last minute help with him and Sarita was available and had no problem adjusting to my work schedules. I had no worries when I was away. She keeps the house clean, pictures sent & communicates! I'll def be booking more
Sarita was amazing and we can’t wait to use her again!!! She communicated with us every step of the way as this was our first time using Rover. She also sent us pictures daily and I’m pretty sure our house was cleaner than when we left it. She is so sweet and genuinely loves animals. I would recommend her 1,000 percent!!!
Sarita came and stayed in our home while we were out of town for a wedding. She was so warm and loving and gave our pup so much attention. She had great communication and sent lots of photos and updates. We really appreciate her being here while we were away. She also left our home cleaner then when she arrived. Thank you Sarita!

A typical day
If your pup enjoys the great outdoors, they will be right at home with me! I love bringing animals into nature for exercise. I feel like they really enjoy being out in the sun playing and frolicking! Getting exercise is one of my favorite parts of any time that I have with a pup, so we’ll make sure to burn lots of energy together. I love to play outside sports with dogs, like playing fetch with a Frisbee or dancing outside in the sun. I am always happy to visit new parks and explore new neighborhoods, but my favorite thing to do is head to the dog park. It’s so fun meeting new friends! However, I’m also happy to meet your pup at their level, whether that’s high-energy playtime or just being lazy on the couch together.
