I️ am a senior animal science major at Chico State. I️ have volunteered at animal shelters, fostered cats and dogs, volunteered at a wildlife sanctuary, and worked along side several veterinarians. I️ currently asissit a mobile veterinarian and have gained tons of hands on expirence with numerous dog breeds and sizes. I️ have had dogs since I️ was born, andI️ love spending time with them, and going on outdoor adventures. I️ have also had lots of expirence with high energy, aggressive and temperamental dogs. I️ have completed a dog behavior course, which has provided me with a concrete understanding of how to avoid and prevent aggressive situations with dogs, as well as allow me to read the dogs feelings and evaluate how to interact with that dog.
