I have grown up with Golden Retrievers my entire life. Housesitting has been a passion of mine since I was 15 years old. I started dog-sitting for a family friend at a young age, including caring for their barn full of horses and fulfilling all of those duties. It expanded from there to other friends & family. Services have ranged from a quick check in to a 2-week stay. All of the animals I’ve cared for are treated like one of my own as they are 100% your responsibility when spending a short time with them.. They tug at my heart strings every time I leave. Some families I’ve cared for over the years even have invited me over to say my goodbyes before crossing the rainbow bridge. I just love these doggos! Nothing makes me happier than a smiling excited dog or 4 golden retrievers at once! I primarily have cared for dogs & cats, but also well versed with horses. Chickens, bunnies, occasional reptile too. Side notes to be made: When staying in someone’s home, it should also be kept clean, daily chores and tasks will be completed, and your home will be spotless upon return.
