Pet care experience
I have had a Havanese dog for about 12 years now and has been my pride and joy ever since. Unfortunately when I moved out to Colorado she stayed in my hometown and I miss her every day. My old roommates had two dogs and I cared for them and loved them like my own. If they went out of town I would step in and watch after them including walking, feeding, and playing with them. I absolutely love going to local parks and going for long walks with dogs. Any dog I meet melts my heart and will give my undivided attention and love to any dog that is in my care.

Sarah is compassionate towards all the pets she encounters, including her own dog. The Pets' needs always come first regardless what she is in the middle of doing. I highly recommend Sarah to care for your dog for she will be considerate and kind as if he/she was her own.

I always walk dogs on a lease and pay close attention to their behavior. I always make sure there is plenty of water for them after our walks as well. I make sure any dog is comfortable with me first before I do anything else. If food is needed I will feed and if anything else is needed I will provide.

I like to know how open a dog is to strangers to make sure I give enough time for them to be comfortable with me before doing anything else. I like to know their energy level as well to match our walk and playtime accordingly. I also like to know how their personality is overall and how long owner’s normally spend time walking and also feeding schedule in case I need to feed a dog.
A typical day
I love taking my dog for walks around local parks and would love to do the same for your dog. I’d also play with them and make sure they are comfortable with me to make a better experience for both the dog and myself. If your dog loves to play fetch I could do that for hours!!

Availability
I am current working a full time position 8am-5pm. I am availably any time after 5 pm and any time on most weekends. When living with my roommates and not working I would be tend to them any time needed.
