Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs since I was little and we’ve always had a dog! I’ll walk my neighbors dogs and I puppy sit my 1 year old brothers puppy also ! My dog is named Sadie, she is a border collie and she’s just the best ! I dog sit and housesit for my neighbors. They have always relied on me to check on their pets (any age) , feed them, walk them and I have stayed in clients house overnight as well . I love dogs and cats and would love to help ! Pet care fits into my daily routine easily - I’ve been doing Rover for a few months now and I love it ! You meet a ton of new animals and a lot of cool people as well ! I’d love to help out ! It would definitely work better for me to care for the clients pets at their home. I do live with a dog at the moment , who is friendly but territorial! I would care for your pets as if they were my own!! I know it can be nerve wracking going out of town and leaving your pet :(! This seems like a great side hustle and I love animals, this seems great!

She no-showed our meet and greet, I was forced to cancel the reservation last minute. I was left waiting nearly 2 hours and was forced to find same-day boarding options.
If I could give ZERO stars I would. She entered my home at 1am the next morning after she was to arrive between 3-5pm and agreed to stay overnight but did not. She arrived DRUNK at my home and brought other people into my home who were not approved to be there. My dog was supposed to have a sitter all night and most of the day and she spent about 20 minutes in 24 hours, during which she was intoxicated. I was out of state for my mother’s death and funeral and this is what I had to deal with. The first morning I was out of town I woke up to this sitter on recording stating “I guess I have to feed the bitch” at 1am when she first entered my home. I was so worried about my dog I had the stay terminated early and had to have someone come rescue my dog!!! There was poop and pee everywhere in the house because she was not present to let her outside and care for her appropriately. Do not let this be you, do NOT hire her.
Sarah was a wonderful petsitter for our Princess Sweetie Pie. She sent pictures every day which let us know she was doing fine. I felt like my cat was in good hands and I was able to enjoy my vacation. I would recommend Sarah to anyone needing a petsitter.
Sarah was great! Very responsive and kept me up to date with Mica w/ photos!

Ahead of time before watching an animal , I think it is helpful to know if they have any allergies or take any oral medications ! Usually people let me know beforehand and it’s really helpful just in case anything we’re to happen. Letting me know if your dog is friendly around other dogs too is important say if we go to a public park!
A typical day
With dogs I watch I normally play fetch with them, walk them or let them roam around their yard!! Usually dogs that I sit or watch overnight have certain toys they like or parks near where I am staying !!
