Hello, my name is Sarah W and I am a Professional Pet Sitter. Pet sitting and dogwalking has been my full-time job for over 6 years. I have my own insurance through Pet Sitter's Associates and am a proud member of Pet Sitters International. I love pets and also take my job very seriously. I communicate a lot and make sure you and the pets feel safe with me. I am respectful to every home I am in and try to leave it in the same or better condition when I leave. I have enjoyed working for Rover, and also Wag!, since September 2019. Prior to that I worked for Sassypaws, a pet care company in the Oak Park area, for two years. While with them I walked up to 9 dogs daily, and cared for some incredible cats. Along with dogwalking, I have a background working with children, teens, and adults with special needs. I graduated with a degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2012. I have worked for SEASPAR, Southeast Association of Special Parks and Recreation, as a Program Assistant and a Special Olympics coach. I have experience walking puppies, older dogs, multiple dogs, and doing cat care. I am a passionate animal lover that loves my family, work and rock-climbing.
