Pet care experience
Hello Fellow Dog Lovers! My name is Sarah and I am currently a student at Tulane Univeristy. I have been around dogs my whole life and consider all animals very therapeutic and comforting for the soul. I have been a using Rover on and off for about three years now and have had a great experience. I consider myself a unique type of dog sitter. Not only do I LOVE dogs and want nothing more for them to be as comfortable as possible while you are away, I have experience tending to dogs with special needs. My dog Korky was blind and my other dog Betsey was paralyzed, so I know first hand what it is like to care for pups who are in discomfort and need very special attention and instructions. Furthermore, I consider myself highly capable of being able to handle the huge responsibilities of caring for a loved one and a home. I take that responsibility seriously and know that your home is to be respected. I promise you will be at ease with me as your sitter and I will in turn, make a new furry friend! Rates: $35 a night includes: Breakfast, AM 20 minute walk, love and hugs Dinner, PM 30 minute walk, love and hugs Nightwalk 10 min, bedtime Hangout/Sleepover/Movie night (5pm to bedtime) (optional) Trash taken out, mail brought in, plants watered. House be in the condition you left it : ) Also have a cat? Cat Care: $5 per cat, per night,-includes cleaning litter box, feeding and plenty of purrrr worthy petting and play (if they are into that of course!) *Rates are flexible and can be discussed more thoroughly at the Meet & Greet!* Why I love dog sitting I have loved dogs ever since I can remember. My mom got me my first dog when I was 10, Korky. He passed away 3 years ago at the golden age of 15, but he was the best, most loving dog. I also had a dog named Betsey, who recently passed away due to liver cancer and was paralyzed. She was a very sweet, loving dog. I miss them both very much. On occasion I would also dog sit for family and friends and always enjoyed doing it. Luckily for me there's Rover! My experience administering medication Yes. Definitely.

Sarah did a great job! My dogs are kind of high maintenance (somewhat needy, and my boy dog has cancer and takes a lot of meds) but she handled it like it was no big deal, kept me regularly updated, and left the house clean and in good shape. Also, my roommate is occasionally around, so she was able to reassure me that Sarah spent lots of time with the dogs and that the dogs were relaxed and happy around her. Would definitely use again!

Our puppies love when Sarah arrives. She is respectful and cares greatly about our family members. We will continue to have Sarah watch our pups whenever we need someone that we trust.
Sarah is an AMAZING sitter for our two dogs. She kept us updated on their daily schedule, took them for walks, which I'm sure they LOVED, and even was concerned when one of our little dogs had allergies and was itching quite a bit. You can't beat the love and affection she showed for our little ones at all! We will DEFINITELY be using her again!!

I would like to know potty habits, temperament, (especially around other dogs) and sleep schedule. I have no breed or size preference, since my dogs were little dogs and I have dog sat for many medium to large size dogs that range in breeds. Furthermore, I can manage high energy dogs and dogs with special needs. My ideal dog I would sit for would be pretty well behaved, respond to simple commands, potty trained (if some have accidents here and there, that is okay. My dog Korky use to pee when he got excited, so I get it!) and is calm/okay being around other dogs and people. However, I am flexible and can adapt to a variety of dogs and dog personalities, let's meet and see if we are a good match!
