Hello! I'm Sarah. I love dogs and my husband and I are the proud owners of a 14-lb. shelter dog who is super friendly and loves to play with other dogs. We especially like smaller dogs (35 lbs. and under). We are committed to hosting just one or two dogs at a time, so you can be fully confident that if your dog is here, it's getting tons of attention and having all its needs met! OFFERINGS (PLEASE READ): While we've cared for lots of Rover dogs in the past, we're currently interested in hosting one to two dog-friendly dogs who will enjoy hanging out with Hazel during the day and getting plenty of love and attention from us. This is a great setup for a dog who likes to socialize but doesn't want a chaotic or noisy environment like a typical doggy daycare business or camp. We work from home and have a large, fenced yard with plenty of grass for playtime in addition to walks around the neighborhood and in Wash Park. It's a pretty sweet setup for couple of dogs, I must say! We go on three walks per day (one longer walk and two shorter, around-the-block strolls). Your dog would never be left alone or unsupervised during daycare here. CREDENTIALS: I grew up around dogs and have worked with dogs of many sizes, breeds, and personalities, from cuddly lap dogs to high-energy herding dogs. I have worked as a trained volunteer with the Denver Dumb Friends League, where I interacted with every breed and size of dog imaginable. I make it a priority to donate to the Animal Legal Defense Fund, the ASPCA and local dog shelters and certified rescue organizations. I am personally very active and enjoy walking, hiking, and running adventures with dogs.
