Hi there - thanks for considering me to watch your babies! I grew up with pets, and currently have two cats and a dog. I’m well-versed in pets of all ages and temperaments. My pup is almost two years old and a friend to all dogs, if your dogs enjoy company. 😊

Sarah was a great sitter! She was very punctual, and my pup loved her. She took lady bird on plenty of walks and kept a close eye on her. When we got home, our pup was ready for a long nap.

Sarah has watched my Lhasa Apso, Wicket, several times over the last few years. I had previously boarded him at vets and kennels during holidays and vacations, but he always seemed pretty bummed out after being sprung from the puppy jail experience. Sarah offered to watch him once, so I took her up on the offer knowing she loves dogs! The difference in Wicket's demeanor after picking him up was like night and day! He was still chipper and waggy and an all-around contented pup! As such, Sarah has been my go-to dog sitter ever since. She always asks questions about Wicket's routine, any changes or special needs since the last time she watched him, and just generally seems to care. Sarah also encourages me to feel free to call and check in, which I do from time to time. In short, I'm super excited for Sarah to get on Rover and extend her services to dog lovers everywhere! I can't recommend her enough!

I live in an apartment, so for any dogs larger than ~20lbs I’d prefer to watch them in your home if possible. Small dogs are welcome at my place (and I am open to considering larger, lazier dogs as well).

I'd like to know if they have any behavioral issues or aggressive tendencies (not deal breakers, just good to have a heads up!). Also any health issues or specific needs outside of the norm.
A typical day
Of course this depends heavily on the dog, but I’m happy to plan whatever activities make sense! Walks or hikes in the city (big fan of Carkeek and Discovery Park), a day at Magnuson, lounging and cuddles, fetch. I also have a pup who would be thrilled to tag along, if your dog enjoys company.

Availability
I work remotely 7-3, M-F, and unless otherwise noted am available in the afternoon/evening and on weekends. I have flexibility within my work day, and often take my own dog on several walks throughout the day. Look forward to hearing from you!
