Hi, I'm Sarah! A dog-loving and dog-owning mom in Denton, TX. Why Rover? … I absolutely adore our dog Yoshi (a six year old Goldendoodle) and want another doggie. Hubby says no so I think Rover is a good means of getting to provide belly rubs to new pooches and to love on two dogs full-time! As an avid user of Rover for my own dog sitting needs, I know how important it is to find the perfect place for your fur baby! I live in a 2-story house with my husband and three kids (all huge dog lovers) and I have experience taking care of dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and peculiarities. I have a large, fenced in backyard where your dog can run around and play. They will be allowed on furniture and will receive lots of snuggle time (the boys love to play fetch with the pups and to run them around the yard) - your baby will be treated like part of the family! With our own dog, we strive to always provide a calm, loving, and structured environment for him-- I would absolutely do the same for your dog! Our home is always stocked with plenty of treats, toys, and comfy lounging areas. Your fur-ball and I will be doing the same stuff Yoshi and I do. Morning walks around the neighborhood (or dog park if okay with you), cuddling on the couch if he/she and you're cool with it, they can even come swim with me at my folks if the weather is right! Here's a bit of the run down for our day: - 6am - walk around the block. Sniff around and such - 7:15am - grub and such. Meds if they have any. - 8:30am - lounge by my feet in my office while I work or play around the house/yard - 1:30pm - dog park or other green space - 3:30pm - playtime with human kids or nap if needed - 6pm - Grub time. - 6:30pm - walk around the block - 8pm-ish - doggie cuddles on the couch! - 11pm-ish - Pre-bed time outing / bedtime Additionally, I take photo sharing very, very seriously-- you will get to see how much fun we are having throughout your pup's stay! Lastly, I always try to minimize my time away from home when I am caring for a pup. I work from home so usually I am always here. You can be confident that your pup will be under constant supervision! If he/she likes to ride in the car - we can do that too! I know it can be a little nerve-racking when having to leave your pet behind, so I will do anything I can to put your mind at ease knowing they are in good hands! Sarah was so wonderful with our dog! Very flexible with pick up and drop off, loved on our little guy, was quick to reply and sent lots of photos. Would recommend!
Sarah took amazing care of my Owen and Norton while I was traveling home over Christmas. She was very responsive, and sent me pictures everyday while I was gone. Her backyard is great for letting them run around, I don't think they wanted to come home after their stay! I would highly recommend Sarah for anyone looking for a pet sitter.
Sarah was awesome with our two pups. Our little terrier mix is very skittish, but Sarah was incredibly patient in meeting her, and getting her comfortable. She kept us up to date, and was very professional and pleasant to work. I wouldn't hesitate to use her again in the future!

I would like to know if there are any meds needed to be given, if your dog gets along with other dogs, how much shedding to expect, if your dog is good with kids, how much exercise he/she is okay with, if there is anything they are scared of (bikes, scooters, cats, etc), if your pup is known to counter surf ;), any hard and fast bathroom needs - we like to know everything so we can make things as much like home as possible! Bigger breeds preferred but small are good too. Non-shedding preferred but we've had plenty of shedding!
A typical day
Walks, dog park, cuddles on couch, fetch, run in backyard, swim in my parents pool if weather permits, walk through the forest at dog park if weather permits, can reinforce behavior training if needed, socialization with our dog and others if okay
