I have always loved animals. I've been rescuing, fostering, and adopting out stray and abandoned cats and dogs, since I was 12. Providing sitting and dog walking services felt like a natural evolution of caring for animals, allowing me to continue to rescue orphaned, abandoned, or stray pets. I offer all medicinal applications *short* of intravenous. So, if your pet needs oral medications, insulin injections, or subcutaneous fluids, I am quite capable. I can bottle feed infant animals and syringe or spoon feed the sickly, if needed. Does your pet need a taxi to a veterinary or grooming appointment? I'm their driver. My greatest joys are when one of my canine charges wriggles in delight that Sarah "the fun lady" has come to play; or, when a normally diffident feline puts her paw on me, claiming me as one of her friends (Lulu, pictured above, kindly illustrating that 😺). I prefer a household with more than one pet. I am especially seeking feline households. But, a balanced household, with at least one dog and one cat is a plus. Please note, any dog needing a walk must be polite on the leash. Any dog over 30 pounds must be calm and gentle - no jumping or taking my knees out from under me.
