Loving and Well-Reviewed Sitter!

Pet care experience

Hello! My name is Sarah and I am a College of Charleston alum (class of 2022). I am 24 years old and live downtown near Hampton park. I am looking for dog walking, drop in visits and house sitting bookings since they work best for my current home in charleston. My current home does not allow for long-term dog sitting per our lease so I unfortunately cannot board at my own home currently. I still look forward to meeting your loved pets and assisting you in any way I can! My pricing is based on my level of care, the 3+ years I have been on Rover and the mentality of a livable wage when broken down by hour when house sitting. Feel free to check out my reviews and photos to gain more insight to see if I am a good fit to care for your pet!

Sarah was a great communicator, very responsive, and sent us pics, videos, and updates throughout each day which house sitting our pup. She was meticulous in following our pup’s complicated meal instructions too. I could tell he was happy as well as healthy & safe with Sarah which was the most important thing! She also went above & beyond to tidy up the house, clean the linens, take out the trash, etc before we got home which was so appreciated!

Sarah is AMAZING. I trust her 100% with both my fur baby and my home. She goes the extra mile to assure both are safe and well taken care of, she even cleaned a bit which I deeply appreciated. She is phenomenal, and my only con is that we cannot clone her!

Safety, trust & environment

When boarding at my own home, I always recommend the owner bring their dog’s pen if they are usually put up when left alone - but if they’re the type of dog that doesn’t do well in a cage then I am 100% able to accommodate still :) Other precautions I always like to take is triple checking locked front/back doors, not having a problem at all with home security cameras when house sitting and making sure I adjust to the type of trust gaining skills needed per dog + the owner to make sure both are at ease.

Information Sarah T. would like to know about your pet

Every dog is different! Please be as honest as possible and feel free to go into as much detail as you would like when describing your pet so we can both parties can make sure it’s a good fit :) This includes behavioral issues, trust issues, bark levels, co-dependency traits, and feeding schedules - the list could go on! ** Please inquire about my constant care rate if your animal(s) cannot be left alone less than 2 - 4 hours at a time **

A typical day

Some activities I like to do with dogs is 100% getting them outside to explore - whether in their own neighborhood or in my neighborhood so they become more adjusted + familiar with the new area. Like I’ve said before, I love to get outside but am still a leisurely girl - so I’ll mostly take a stroll or at most a light jog. If older and not as active, I am more than happy to adjust to their level of physical ability or just hangout with them stationary, yet outside.
