Pet care experience
My family got my first puppy when I was 7 and I’ve been obsessed with animals since then! I’ve provided pet sitting, drop-in services, and dog walking for friends and family most of my life. My partner and I currently have 3 dogs (Miley, Norman, and Leroy) and 1 cat (Earl). Most of our pets are seniors and Leroy is a puppy! I have experience with pain management and medication administration as well as basic puppy manners and puppy needs. Don’t let your pets sing the blues, let me watch them for you! 🥰

I highly recommend Sarah for your pet caretaking needs. Sarah is patient, intentional, and compassionate in the ways she cares for animals. When watching my dogs, (one of which has high anxiety that looks like aggression at times) Sarah was proactive in learning about my pups needs and was able to carry out all instructions. And trust me, my dog is finicky and can be a real bully sometimes (I say that with love). I always worried about who can take care of such a specifically needy dog, keeping me from traveling for a number of years. Most importantly, she is one of the few people I can trust to take care of my home and animals while I’m away. I’m so grateful for her abilities, allowing me to step away every once in a while. Once you meet her, you’ll see why I love her so much!

To make the visit to your family member as smooth as possible, I’d love to know the individual needs of each furry friend. I have experience administering oral medications and assisting pets with pain management and light exercise. Puppies, seniors, and those in-between are a-okay with me!
A typical day
I love stimulating furry friends through a variety of different activities, tailored to their individual need. Having 3 senior pets and 1 puppy calls for innovation and trying new activities. I love to teach dog puzzles, play with their favorite toys, and smell ALL the things! I have obedience training experience and would be happy to begin basic skills with your pup.

Availability
I work a full time job as a mental health social worker but have day and evening flexibility as I work mostly in the field. I always have time to put pets first and can fit drop-ins and walks easily into my schedule! If you want a puppy or senior dog to socialize with yours, I can easily bring my pups along as well! I can typically accommodate bookings within 24 hours of the need, but 2-3 days notice is ideal! I’m also able to facilitate regular and scheduled visits.
