WFH to love and care for animals

Pet care experience

I have cared and loved for dogs all my life. At a young age, I started dog sitting for friends, family, and neighbors. I've grown up caring for all kinds of dogs including diabetic dogs, so I am familiar with inserting a syringe and managing the insulin. I do work a full-time job from home, so they will get the full treatment of love, care, and walks during my break time. I work remotely Monday - Friday, as a graphic designer. I have plenty of free time and breaks in between to go for a walk and as many potty breaks as needed. Pets deserve attention which I am able to provide. Fence installed! Every potty break will be supervised leash-free in the backyard. Depending on their energy or client request, I will gladly take them for a walk every day. As for puppies, I am not certified in training but I will be sure to keep training consistent with what you do in your home because consistency is key.

Sarah was so warm and friendly when I brought over my two pups. She loved them immediately and they loved her too. Sarah sent multiple pictures each day playing in her yard and also as she took them on walks. It made me so happy and certainly at ease knowing they were having the best time with her. I would recommend Sarah to take care of your pup. You’ll be happy you did!

This was our first time using a sitter from Rover and are happy to say we will always use Sarah when we have to go away. She was the best sitter you could ask for. She cared for our dog Gia as if she was her own dog and Gia loved being there. This is such a fantastic option to have when we have to leave our dog someplace if we have to go out of town compared to leaving her at a kennel or at our vet's boarding facility.

Sarah is so wonderful with our girl!! We never worried as she sent plenty of sweet pictures and updates of Anika being loved in and cared for!!! She treated our pup as if she were her own and we appreciated her attentiveness to our older pup !!! We would most definitely recommend her for a safe & loving environment to leave your pet while traveling!! We hope to have Anika stay with her again in the future!!! Thank you so much Sarah for being so kind & loving with our girl!!!

Sarah is just the best !! She is so attentive and caring towards our pup! We were so thankful for all of her daily ( sometimes several a day) updates, photos and videos. Anika seemed very relaxed and happy in all of them and when we picked her up she was very happy as well. Anika ( our older pup) had daily meds and also had a few lil ‘ special idiosyncrasies that we are always concerned about but Sarah & her husband were so awesome and everything went smoothly! Would most definitely recommend her to others and we plan to have our pet stay with her again in the future!!! As a matter of fact we have already booked her next stay!!! ?????

Your dog will be closely supervised. There are no cages or crates, so your dog will have the run of a portion of my home. I do not allow them full access to any bedrooms unless supervised. They have the living room and kitchen to themselves all day every day. If you like your dog sleeping in a crate at night, you are welcome to bring it along. Finally, your dog must be housebroken (i.e., only potties outside, no pee pads) and up-to-date with his/her vaccinations.

Information Sarah S. would like to know about your pet

It's always a good idea to meet a dog before committing to pet-sitting services. You and I can talk about your pet's needs and you can inspect the premises and learn about how I will care for your pet. Specifically, I would need to know your pet’s daily schedule; temperament; health issues/vet contact; food and diet preferences/restrictions; activity level/exercise needs; sleeping arrangement; command familiarity; and behavioral quirks (cats, skateboards, bicycles, and kids)

A typical day

I believe in using only positive techniques in the care of your dog. My mission is to provide outstanding care, service, and safety for your pet.

41 to 100 lbs
over 101 lbs

Availability

I do work a full-time job remotely, so on random occasions, I'd be required to go into the office. If that's ever the case, you the owner will be informed how long your pup will be without constant supervision. Please note there will be no overlapping with customers, I would prefer to have one on one with your dog or dogs.
